Polo era un pequeño pingüino que vivía al sur de Alaska, él y su familia eran parte de una gran manada de pingüinos que vivían en armonía y paz, esto fue así por mucho tiempo, hasta que un día Polo comenzó a mirar más allá de lo que siempre miraba y comenzó a desear cosas que para él eran difíciles de alcanzar.
Polo was a little penguin who lived in southern Alaska, he and his family were part of a large flock of penguins who lived in harmony and peace, this was so for a long time, until one day Polo began to look beyond what he always looked at and began to desire things that for him were difficult to achieve.
Polo comenzó a observar con gran empeño las aves del cielo y se dio cuenta de que a diferencia de él, ellas sí podían volar, esto comenzó como simple intriga, pero rápidamente se convirtió en algo más, un sentimiento de envidia y rencor que le causaba angustia y le robaba la felicidad.
Este sentimiento fue echando raíces en su corazón y lastimosamente le había robado la paz, Polo ya no era un pingüino feliz, ahora se quejaba y lamentaba constantemente por ser un animal desdichado que no podía volar, su infelicidad era tan grande que comenzó a trasmitirla a los demás y muchos se fueron contagiando y tomaron su actitud y su mal ejemplo de inconformidad y desdicha.
Polo began to observe with great determination the birds in the sky and realized that unlike him, they could fly, this began as a simple intrigue, but quickly became something more, a feeling of envy and resentment that caused him anguish and robbed him of happiness.
This feeling took root in his heart and unfortunately had stolen his peace, Polo was no longer a happy penguin, now he constantly complained and lamented for being an unhappy animal that could not fly, his unhappiness was so great that he began to transmit it to others and many were infected and took his attitude and his bad example of nonconformity and unhappiness.
En menos de un año aquella preciosa ciudad se había convertido en un pueblo malencarado y amargado, que odiaba y que envidiaba la felicidad de los pájaros, por esta razón incluso les habían prohibido aterrizar o volar cerca de esta comunidad.
Pasaron los meses y las nuevas generaciones seguían trasmitiendo el mismo sentimiento de infelicidad e inconformidad, ahora los pingüinos se quejaban por todo y renegaban de la vida que tenían que llevar, hasta que un día un elefante marino cansado del comportamiento de los pingüinos se molestó por la conducta indeseable que tenían y decidió sacarlos de aquel lugar, su espíritu negativo y conflictivo estaba contaminando a todos los otros animales que estaban en este lugar.
El elefante marino pensó en hablar con ellos para ver si los hacía razonar, pero todos se mostraron indiferentes, decepcionado el elefante Marino iba a decidido a atacar, hasta que Polo mostró algo de amabilidad, entonces el elefante marino se dio cuenta de que quizás había algo de esperanza en que estos animales pudieran cambiar, entonces invito a Polo a nadar.
In less than a year that beautiful city had become a bitter and bitter people, who hated and envied the happiness of the birds, for this reason they had even forbidden them to land or fly near this community.
Months passed and the new generations continued to transmit the same feeling of unhappiness and nonconformity, now the penguins complained about everything and disowned the life they had to lead, until one day an elephant seal tired of the behavior of the penguins was annoyed by the undesirable behavior they had and decided to remove them from that place, their negative and conflictive spirit was contaminating all the other animals that were in this place.
The elephant seal thought of talking to them to see if he could make them reason, but they were all indifferent, disappointed the elephant seal was going to attack, until Polo showed some kindness, then the elephant seal realized that maybe there was some hope that these animals could change, so he invited Polo to swim.
Mientras nadaban y contemplaban los peces, el león marino felicito a Polo por su gran capacidad y velocidad al nadar, Polo algo sonrojado, destaco que no podía volar, Polo no estaba acostumbrado a ver y aceptar las cosas buenas que tenía, por eso el león marino le refuto diciendo que ellos tampoco podían volar y no por de eso iba a andar amargado el resto de su vida.
Aquellas palabras hicieron que Polo comenzara a pensar de forma diferente y se dio cuenta de que si se empeñaba en buscar razones para justificar su infelicidad, las quejas y lamentos siempre iban a estar, pero era mejor destacar siempre las cosas que sí tenemos de las cuales podemos disfrutar y de seguro estas cosas nos llenaran de gran satisfacción y mucha felicidad.
Desde aquel día Polo tiene una nueva meta por la cuál trabajar, enseñar a sus amigos a ver las cosas buenas que Dios nos da.
While they were swimming and contemplating the fish, the sea lion congratulated Polo for his great capacity and speed in swimming, Polo, somewhat blushing, pointed out that he could not fly, Polo was not used to see and accept the good things he had, so the sea lion refuted him by saying that they could not fly either and not because of that he was going to be bitter for the rest of his life.
Those words made Polo begin to think differently and he realized that if he insisted on looking for reasons to justify his unhappiness, the complaints and regrets would always be there, but it was better to always highlight the things we do have that we can enjoy and for sure these things will fill us with great satisfaction and happiness.
Since that day Polo has a new goal to work for, to teach his friends to see the good things that God gives us.

Polo es un gran animal y logro demostrar muchas cosas cuando se lo propone y en esta vida siempre se tiene que tomar el mejor camino y no estar dependiendo de los demás, ya que eso no trae nada bueno, como también habrán personas que están dispuestas a siempre a ayudar.
