Saludos amigos de #splinterlands, nuevamente comparto con ustedes mi participación al concurso semanal donde podemos crear o ilustrar a una criatura de su juego de cartas, el cual está conformado por una gran diversidad de personajes, de distintos tamaños y formas, además de con un atributo que se hace presente en el diseño de la criatura. El día de hoy he escogido ilustrar a por su aspecto de serpiente gigante que me hace pensar mucho en un basilisco, una criatura mitológica con un veneno letal y que también podía transformar en piedra, el cual nace de un huevo de gallina incubado por un sapo.
Greetings friends of #splinterlands, once again I share with you my participation in the weekly contest where we can create or illustrate a creature of your card game, which is made up of a great diversity of characters, of different sizes and shapes, as well as with an attribute that is present in the design of the creature. Today I have chosen to illustrate a giant snake that makes me think a lot of a basilisk, a mythological creature with a lethal poison and that could also transform into stone, which is born from a hen's egg hatched by a toad.
También el aspecto enorme y poderoso que tiene es otra razón por la cual me enamoré de esta carta, empezando a dibujar a mi estilo, durando 4 horas en realizar esta ilustración que hoy les comparto, la cual es como el tercer dibujo digital que he realizado de cartas de splinterlands, siendo este mi segundo favorito hasta los momentos. Espero ilustrar y posiblemente crear personajes en futuras participaciones, las cuales anteriormente realizaba en tradicional en hojas blancas.
Also the huge and powerful aspect that it has is another reason why I fell in love with this card, starting to draw in my style, taking 4 hours to make this illustration that I share with you today, which is like the third digital drawing I've done of splinterlands cards, being this my second favorite so far. I hope to illustrate and possibly create characters in future participations, which previously made in traditional white sheets.
TWILIGHT BASILISK
Esta feroz criatura se llama Twilight Basilisk, y pertenece a las criaturas del elemento Dragón. Esta posee una naturaleza Rara y su costo de mana es de 4 puntos. Este Monstruo posee dos habilidades, las cuales son: "Alcance" que le permite atacar desde la segunda posición del equipo y “Aturdir” la cual le da la posibilidad de aturdir al elegido al momento de golpearlo haciendo que se salte un turno.
This ferocious creature is called Twilight Basilisk, and belongs to the creatures of the Dragon element. It has a Rare nature and its mana cost is 4 points. This Monster has two abilities, which are: "Reach" which allows it to attack from the second position of the team and "Stun" which gives it the possibility to stun the chosen one at the moment of hitting it, making it skip a turn.

- Realicé la base del dibujo con el lápiz digital, utilizando un tono azul.
I made the base of the drawing with the digital pencil, using a blue tone.
- Con el mismo lápiz digital y ahora con un tono morado empecé a definir el dibujo, realizando sus colmillos, cabello y espinas.
With the same digital pencil and now with a purple tone I started to define the drawing, making its fangs, hair and thorns.
- Con la pluma tinta china empecé a realizar el trabajo de líneas en todo el dibujo, una vez culminado este elimine las dos capas anteriores.
With the Chinese ink pen I began to make the line work all over the drawing, once this was finished I eliminated the two previous layers.
- Realicé la base de color en todo el dibujo con sus respectivos tonos, utilizando el rellenado para facilitar el trabajo.
I made the base color throughout the drawing with their respective tones, using the filling to facilitate the work.
- Con el aerógrafo triangular apliqué una base de sombra con el color morado, definiendo y dando volumen al dibujo.
With the triangular airbrush I applied a shadow base with the purple color, defining and giving volume to the drawing.
- Empecé a detallar el cuerpo de la criatura, dejando pequeños puntos azules para dar similitud a las escamas en el cuerpo, y con una parte inferior de tonos cremosos.
I started detailing the body of the creature, leaving small blue dots to give similarity to the scales on the body, and with a lower part of creamy tones.
- Empecé a detallar las espinas y el cabello que tiene en la punta de la cola y en la cabeza, de diversos tonos de amarillo aplicado de distintas formas en cada una de las áreas.
I started detailing the spines and the hair on the tip of the tail and on the head, in various shades of yellow applied in different ways in each of the areas.
- Detallé la lengua, dientes, boca y ojos para así terminar con el procedimiento de la criatura y proceder al fondo.
I detailed the tongue, teeth, mouth and eyes in order to finish the creature's procedure and proceed to the background.
- En el fondo apliqué una base negra, la cual fui iluminando con unos tonos de verde pálidos, para que resultará a la criatura sin opacarla.
In the background I applied a black base, which I illuminated with a few shades of pale green, so that the creature would appear without overshadowing it.

I've seen several people using it and it's like 'I'm not alone in the world', do you use it on your cell phone or do you also have a graphic tablet so you don't have to draw by hand?
I'm using it on my cellphone. :D
Since I'm a beginner, I'm hesitant to buy other tools.
