Splinterlands Card Review: Harvester.
Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Harvester.

Harvester (COMMON Earth Monster)

I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this giant crab in the market and bought it. Then I started playing with it. This monster looks like a mixture of many things like a crab on the hands part, an elephant on the teeth part, a predator on the upper head part with the eyes, and a lizard pm the leg and tail part. Looks scary, right?
I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed & 7 health, and it needs 5 mana to join a battle.
Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market.
Let me show one of my battle using this card.
A Brief Info About The Match
The battle mana cap was 20 with the "Standard" ruleset where I used the earth splinter for the battle and my opponent also used the earth splinter against me.
I've used the Harvester at the front position with some monsters that I like on the back to support it.
My Lineup.

I had my Harvester in level 1, Furious Chicken in level 1, Centauri Mage in level 1, Earth Elemental in level 1 & Goblin Dartling in level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Nectar Queen in level 1, Failed Summoner in level 1, Khmer Princess in level 1 & Elven Mystic in level 1.
I've used five monsters where one was the Harvester without ability, a chicken without any attacking ability, the Centauri Mage with the "Return Fire" ability, and two more monsters against an opponent with four monsters where the front monster was Nectar Queen with the mighty 4 ranged attack and 10 health and more supports on the back.
Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.
No 01: Harvester (COMMON Earth Monster)

No 02: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.
My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

No 03: CENTAURI MAGE (RARE Earth Monster)

Centauri Mage is a very powerful monster of the earth splinter. This monster is half woman and half horse like we watched in the cinema in our childhood. It has a magical stick with what it throws it attacks, I guess. I like this monster so much for its big health and magic attack with the "Return Fire" ability.
My Centauri Mage is in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 3 speeds, 9 health with "Return Fire" ability, and it needs 7 mana.

No 04: Earth Elemental (Rare Earth Monster)

Every time I used to do a battle using the earth splinter, I tried to use this monster as I got nice support from this monster. I had this monster at a higher-level before when it had better powers and now when it's in a lower-level with fewer powers, still it's proving to be a nice asset. Its "Heal" ability is what makes it far better and that ability unlocks at level 4 with 11 cards.
My Earth Elemental is in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 1 speed, 6 health and it needs 3 mana to play.

No 05: Goblin Dartling (COMMON Earth Monster)

There are many goblins in the splinterlands and this is just another one but with a special kind of weapon that looks like a handgun but it shoots with a special bullet. It looks like it's shooting its opponent while it is flying. I used this monster especially for its low mana which is 2 and I just needed something with 2 mana. Maybe I'll review this monster someday.
My Goblin Dartling is in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 2 health and it needs 2 mana to play.

On the battlefield.

Nothing happened for the special ability of the opponent's summoner but for the special ability of my summoner, all my monsters got +1 health each. Then the Centauri Mage of my team, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on my opponent's Nectar Queen and killed 1 health out of 10 and then Elven Mystic of my opponent team attacked and killed 1 health of my Harvester out of 8. Then my Goblin Dartling attacked the Nectar Queen of my opponent and then my Harvester attacked for the first time on my opponent's Nectar Queen and that monster of opponent already lost 4 health out of 10. Then that Nectar Queen attacked for the first time and killed 4 health out of 7 of my Harvester with only one shot. I wish my Harvester had the same power.

At a point, my Harvester had only 1 health while he missed his shot on the Nectar Queen of my opponent. Right after that moment, the Nectar Queen of my opponent attacked and killed my Harvester.

Then my Furious Chicken came to the front position and died very soon while other monsters of my team tried to knock out the Nectar Queen of my opponent. Then my Centauri Mage came to the front position with its big health but it got a shot from that Nectar Queen and lost almost/more than half its health. Then my Earth Elemental attacked and missed its shot on that Nectar Queen but right after that, my Centauri Mage took down that mighty Nectar Queen.

The war continued and at a time, I had two monsters and all of em were ranged monsters while my opponent had two monsters and both of em were magic attackers so my team was in great danger at that time as only one of my monster could attack at that time and if it dies that means I'll lose the battle. Opponent monsters kept attacking my Earth Elemental while my Goblin Dartling kept attacking with 1 ranged attack. Then at a point, my Goblin Dartling killed a monster of my opponent and then the other monster kept attacking my Earth Elemental and my Goblin Dartling kept attacking that opponent monster.

My losing was this close, man. If my Goblin Dartling happened to miss a single shot then I'd lose the battle but hopefully it didn't miss any. It killed the last monster of my opponent while my Earth Elemental had only 1 health left which means... if that opponent monster could attack my Earth Elemental once more then my Earth Elemental would die and my ranged attacker Goblin Dartling won't be able to do anything from the front position.
The battle got finished in round 10 while my team still had two monsters alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought and the monster that I tried to review in this post didn't do a lot of things it seemed and now I'm looking forward to reviewing the Goblin Dartling soon.

Harvester is in an awkward spot of the current Splinterlands meta. Not quite tanky or aggro enough for the lead spot on the team, but where else does it go? It's a decent value for the stats but doesn't do any one thing particularly well IMO.
