Historical Time Table of Splinterlands
I have been working on putting together a historical timeline of events for Splinterlands. It is not difficult to gather, but rather difficult to put together in a short and consumable format. I know @bjangles is working on a graphical display, which I am looking forward to see. However, I wanted to update a series of tables. These are not of numbers and dates I have staring for a while, so it is possible that I made mistakes in these table, so please help me fact check if you can.
Thanks to @saydie for these assets!

As mentioned, here is our history visualized. :)
I am glad we published this in sync! :)
another great historical document and overview of SL AZ and @bjangles! Knowing the past will guide us unto the future..
Thank you. Hopefully community finds it useful
That is a nice and already a long list of achievements / milestones
Yes, seven years is a long time in crypto!
This is getting reblogged and bookmarked on my browser. Nice work AZ, it puts things in perspective!!!
Thank you Dave. I have been searching for dates of different events often, now I have bookmarked this.
This is cool, its good to see how far we've come and track progress. Especially to rub it in the faces of people who claim "the game is dead"
Good work my man.
Many thanks. I wanted to get to a one stop place to get at least a basic idea of when different things happened. I am always a bit foggy. So I did this for myself. Hopefully community will also find value in it.
Splinterlands to infinity and beyond! Vonak!
Let's see how far we can go
I really liked the Dice packs. I ended up pumping gains from other project into a lot of those packs.
Yes, Dice summoners, like Lorna and Mylor was meta cards for a long time!
I still use Mylor pretty regularly in brawls.
Very cool to see! I'll check out the visualized version bjangles posted :-)
Thank you, please let me know if you find any error
The most fascinating to me is how the game has evolved in the last year. I think I mentioned that before, but how so many problems were successfully tackled is just amazing. There will always be some things to tweak, but it is great to see the turn-around since Chaos Legion.
I have spend 7 years of my life on this game, perhaps 2 to 6 hours every day for 7 years straight. I have invested probably nearly half a million dollars into it. This is my baby, my family. It is not a question of success of failure for me. This is now a significant part of my life.
That's a lot of money and energy. And even if it's not a question of success or failure - it's still beautiful to see our babies evolve and grow!
It was and still is. It is a lot of fun, and excellent way to meet people. I have seen many lives change. Some made a lot of money, some lost a lot! People bought cars, houses, real-life land, businesses. Then people also lost tens of thousands of dollars.
I don't even want to know about the money part in my account... I'm not even trying to maximize profits in order to cash, but in order to build a stronger deck each time. Honestly, it would also be very hard for me to turn my in-game assets into FIAT, anyway. And for me, it's still a game, not an investment. But who knows, maybe I'll finance Lily's college by playing Splinterlands, that would be cool - and it's still around 12 years, so much can happen.
Wow, this is great! The work you've put into this is amazing. I highly recommend it. It's not easy to take seriously something that will make people happy. Well done, really!
Let me ask you this, maybe you can recommend; in which position you prefer to use halving alchemist in a broken arrow battle?
This is a treasure trove of information! I didn’t realize just how much has happened in the past few years. The introduction of Chaos Legion in 2021 was such a big deal, and now seeing the game add more layers like the staking system and new resources makes me really excited for the future.
Do you play the game?
It looks great! very cool. 😎🤙
