Last Town Hall was a total blast, and honestly, @nateaguila presentation just blew my mind 🤯. He showed us how the team is planning to bring intrinsic value straight into Splinterlands – and that means real rewards for simply doing what we love: playing the game.
From new arenas to avatars, skins, and even a massive Glint boost, every step feels like the devs are pushing Splinterlands into a brighter, more rewarding future. I was like… ¡No puede ser! 😲 Each feature is not only about visuals but about giving us, the players, more ways to feel rewarded for our time and strategy.
This is exactly why I keep grinding – because Splinterlands is not only a card game, it’s an evolving universe where every match can bring value 💪⚔️
Let's dive in!
I have to admit… I am getting a bit addicted to the Town Halls 😅. Listening to them feels like picking fruit straight from the tree 🍎🌳 — fresh, direct, and full of flavour. Every month there are exciting updates, and the hype keeps growing.
Right now, most of the attention is on the upcoming Conclave Arcana rewards and the new mini set that will be available to buy with SPS 💎. But in this post, I want to focus on something different.
👉 What impressed me most was Nate’s visionary speech and presentation. He was not only speaking about cards or rewards — he showed us the roadmap for intrinsic value in Splinterlands, something deeper that affects every battle and every player.
To make it even clearer, I have added the infographic below, which shows the essence of what is coming. For me, this proves that we are not only playing a game, we are building a living universe. 🌌
Arena & Season Customization
Every step that expands the universe and makes each #Splinterlands battle more immersive is a huge boost. During this bear market, the team has worked hard to set the tokenomics right and make the project sustainable. The tactical depth is already there, but the chance to expand the lore and enrich the user experience feels unlimited.
Imagine this: what if every season could take place in a special region of our beloved Praetoria? 🌍 What if the Arena itself transformed into a Dragon’s Lair, where dragons gain +1 Power and +1 Speed? 🐉⚡ And what if each season came with unique prizes and rewards, only available during that time?
This kind of customization is not just cosmetic — it creates fresh strategies, new hype, and more reasons to log in and fight. It’s the kind of vision that turns Splinterlands into something bigger than a game: a living, breathing world that evolves with us and would elevate the #play2earn to another level. 🌌
🧙♂️ Avatars
Nate shared something that really fired my imagination: avatars. These will be the way a summoner shows himself to the world. The team is developing a system full of physical and emotional customization, built around 12 bloodlines.
As he explained it, I could already picture this as a true digital identity, one where everyone immediately recognises the summoner you are. It’s not just a face or an outfit — it’s the essence of your playstyle, your story, your presence in Splinterlands.
And honestly, I cannot hide my hype. I can already see myself as a kind of Dwarf Cleric / Runecrafter 🪓✨. Since high school, I have loved dwarves — their resilience, loyalty, and perseverance. For me, they are the perfect symbol of what I want to bring to the battlefield.
This feature goes beyond cosmetics. It is about building recognition, immersion, and identity inside the game. A summoner is no longer just a card… it becomes you.
🧙♂️ 🎭 Skins & Animations
As a former League of Legends player, I can guarantee one thing: players love to spend money to customize their favourite characters 💸🔥. Skins, animations, emotes… all those little details make the experience personal, and they keep the hype alive.
Now, imagine that in Splinterlands. The team is planning to bring skins and animations that will belong to the player, turning every battle into a more unique and singular experience. Your creatures will not just fight — they will shine, roar, and move with style.
And honestly, I cannot stop dreaming further. What if we also had creature stats displayed? 📊 Like % victories, most slaughters, or longest surviving streaks. That would be fantastic! It would give every card not only value but also history, a record of its glory on the battlefield.
This step into customization is a sure win. It makes battles more personal, strengthens our connection with the cards, and adds a whole new layer of excitement to the game. GG guaranteed. 💪⚔️
💎 The Glint Explosion
Finally, but not less important… there is a massive Glint boost coming with the new Conclave Arcana rewards set, which will be available directly with Glint. And let me tell you, I am overhyped for this release! 🚀
First of all — gold foils will be tradeable again! 🎉 Those epic moments, like pulling a $50 Djinn Oshannus gold foil, are about to return. The thrill of that golden shine is back on the table.
Second, the Glint shop is expanding with new items. One of the highlights? Unlock scrolls that will let us free regular cards. Add to that raffles, Black Foils, and special Arcane rewards — all available in a format similar to Frontier raffles.
Just picture it: pulling a Black Foil Legendary through a raffle. 😱 That’s the kind of excitement that creates momentum and keeps the community buzzing. It’s not only about rewards — it’s about energy, hype, and the feeling that something big could happen at any moment.
Splinterlands is about to turn Glint into pure magic. ✨ And to earn extra tickets for the raffles $SPS stacking requirements will be required that will drive to an increased demand!!
🎯 Final Thoughts
After this Town Hall, I am more convinced than ever that Splinterlands is building something unique. It is not only about cards, battles, or rewards. It is about creating a world where every summoner can feel part of the story. 🌌
From arenas that change with each season, to avatars that show our true identity, to skins and animations that make battles personal — every step gives us more reasons to stay, to grind, and to dream big. 💪⚔️
The new Glint system feels like the cherry on top 🍒. Gold foils, raffles, Black Foils… this is pure excitement. And it shows the team is thinking long term, giving us ways to play, earn, and feel rewarded.
For me, Splinterlands is not just a game, it’s a universe we build together. So tell me, amigos — which of these updates are you most hyped about? 🚀 Drop your thoughts below and let’s keep the conversation alive.

Im not really an avatar kind of player but will be interesting to see what they bring to the game. Skins and battlefield effects on the other hand - especially if not just just for big spenders will be great.
The idea of bringing rotating seasons to the game also looks like somethng that can add variety and give something to look forward to.
First of all letme thank you for taking your time for a read. Blogging makes much sense with engagement. When I listened to Nate, I felt that lore and universe will expand with things that will make Splinterlands much greater and move towards a game and not only play2earn focused. Great moves in my opinion!

Thanks for this update. I didn't get a chance to listen to the last town hall and didn't know about a lot of this. I'm glad to hear they are close to launching these new features.
