From cover to cover

I try to make the most of my spare time and I've decided to start reading novels. I find that I have an attention focusing problem and I believe that commiting my time to actually finishing a novel would help.

I like reading but at the same time, I think I have one of them attention disorder things. I simply cannot stay focused on written material for too long.

I could handle a couple of short articles from time to time but anything longer than a 10-minute read feels like a punishment.

The thing is, I think this might actually go beyond just reading. I think it is affecting my life in general and I just can't focus for long hours.

I've even had some video games that I refused to play simply because they require long hours of focus.

So, the idea is that I'm going to start this novel by James Patterson, who I hear is one of the greats and finish it from cover to cover.

The idea is to ensure I read it consistently, to ensure I don't forget all the other stuff I read. The book is around 400 pages long and considering how fast I read, I should complete it 5 days after starting.

Hopefully, this will help me in my future plans to do courses in data science or project management, as the situation requires.
