This is my first giveaway and hopefully not the last. This is my gift to everyone for the experience.

I started Splinterlands late in August after my sweetie @chaosgeek.
She had been playing for a few weeks already and I was looking at her screen from time to time and started asking questions about it. I was quite impressed about the game itself and how the game could easily turn a small investment into huge profits. Thank you cutipie.

Starting with the devs and all the splinterlands team. You guys rock. Considering the growth of the game since this summer, things went pretty smoothly. I know it's hard to please everyone, but you are sure trying your best to give to the community and make this game work/grow and it shows.

Chaotic Presale

Last night I bought a lot of vouchers for this presale. Before presale I had an objective of 1000 packs to be able to get the title. I was considering a voucher price of about 4-5$. There was a lot of speculation on the value of vouchers. I still made the decision to buy them because I didn't have enough SPS stacked yet (don't forget that i joined late august and waited a few weeks before investing). I don't think it was the wise decision to make money wise because vouchers are IMHO overvalued right now on the market.
I don't like the fact that whales have been able to gather over 7K packs. It probably has something to do with those prices.

Another thing that don't help much is probably the lack of fees for trading on the hive engine. It can be an advantage as much as it can be a drawback. I have seen a lot of people or bots buying vouchers and instantly putting them back on the market for more. I know it's part of the free market... but I don't know... so many people are struggling to even get a few vouchers while others are drowning in them... it's something I am not comfortable with.

Finally, another reason why those vouchers went for an insane price is probably the fact that people still aren't aware that they can't get the promo cards when buying the packs from the second market. I tried to explain that to a lot of people everyday since the beginning of presale and I think that the information was probably not as available as it should have been. I am glad that they mentioned this in the last AMA though.

I have been sleep deprived during this presale and I am relieved now that I finally bought my vouchers.
We probably hit the bottom like 2 days ago so if you don't want to miss out, GET THEM NOW before they skyrocket.

Well, I agree with u about the prices for everything like vouchers and packs being way to high especially when the person that buys the pack doesn't get credit for them anyway. but glad to see you got your packs and stuff. Yay nice post, also a chumbi fan looking forward to that project. Hopefully we'll all be able to purchase packs because i can already see people quitting over not being able to compete in the future with all the nerfs being applied to lower ranked players.

I was thinking 4-5$ per and some were even more optimistic. At 17$ each now, it's a tough call even if the promo card was worth 500$... and that's something we really don't know. Big risk for those that pay that much for a voucher.

You can probably buy 2 cards or almost if you trade back the hive you get selling those vouchers for DEC.
