Splinterlands Ranked Battle Discussion. Serpentine Spy.

in Splinterlands2 years ago (edited)

Who have thought that a card with 1 life level can defeat the strongest of the enemies and survive till the end and win the battle. Yeah, I'm talking about the Serpentine Spy and the amazing opportunity ability of this monster because of which I was able to win the match and also this monster was holding its position till the end of the match with only 1 life. And in today's post, I'll be discussing this including explaining the whole battle. So, tie your seatbelts and start reading.

I'm writing this post to share my battle experience of splinterlands and also to participate in the weekly social media challenge contest. I'll also be sharing this post on my social media accounts. Thanks a lot to @splinterlands for this great opportunity. It's very supportive and encouraging to the players. You can also join the contest by following the rules that are given in the post on which the contest is announced by @splinterlands. I'm putting the link to that contest and my refer link to splinterlands in case you are not in splinterlands and feel interested to join. My Lineup:-

The first monster in my lineup is named the Living Lava which is a rare fire unit untamed card. This monster already has 2 shields and enough life capacity to stand in the front line. Alo as a normal melee attacking monster, it cannot attack from any other position than the first one. And it also has a useful ability named the shield ability. Which helps it to hold the position for longer than any other monster could. Though it's a little bit slow, the strong melee attacking ability and the other abilities of this monster covers that slow speed and makes this card perfect for use in the first row.

Then in the second position, I used the TENYII STRIKER which is a rare fire unit chaos legion card that attacks with melee attacking ability. There's a reason behind this monster being able to attack from other positions than the first one with melee ability. It's because of the sneaking ability of this monster. This ability helps this monster the enemy from behind/back of the line while it's standing on any position other than the first position. Also, it has a good amount of life, speed, and melee attacking ability. This is why I use it in almost every battle and there's another special reason behind me using it in this battle. It's because I was also completing a sneak quest(one of the daily challenges in the game). So, it also helped me to get a point in the contest.

Then in the third position, I used the card that I was talking about before. The Serpentine Spy. It's a common fire unit untamed card that also uses melee attacking ability. this monster is amazingly strong and useful in every battle. Just the only weakness is the life of this monster. But, considering how fewer mana caps it costs to use in battles, I think that it's more than enough strong. It only costs 3 mana caps to use in battles. Its specialty is the opportunity ability that helps it to take down any enemy monster from any position that has the lowest life. And that's what helped me to win this battle. I'll also add some screenshots below so that you can see how this card helped me to win the battle.

Then after the Serpentine Spy I used the GOBLIN CHARIOT which is a common neutral unit untamed card that uses ranged attacking ability to attack the opponents. Being a neutral monster this one can play under any summoner and it's the speed and the ranged attacking ability that I use in my battles. Also, ranged attacking monsters cannot attack from the first position and it's safe to keep them as far as possible in the lineup from the first position. And that is why I used it in the last of the line.

Then I used the SCAVO FIREBOLT at the end of the line. As I said ranged attacking monsters are better to be used in the end. The SCAVO FIREBOLT is a rare fire unit chaos legion card that uses ranged attacking ability to attack the enemy monsters. The main reason for me using this monster is because this monster costs less mana than any other monster with the same abilities as this monster.

This was the explanation of my battle. And now it's time to show you guys how good was my SERPENTINE SPY.
