The latest card expansion of Splinterlands: RiftWatchers is characterized by having cards with a very high mana cost and personally I do not like this aspect, however there are many cards that I have seen their usefulness in battle and although they are only in LVL 1, they are still extremely useful and very functional cards. One of those cards, from the DEATH deck is becoming one of my favorites of this recent expansion: Queen of Crows, a Range Attack card which has the ability "Close Range", so it practically becomes a Melee type card depending on the situation and also, this is a card that has good stats in general terms, especially its amount of life points, which are 11 in total, because of this it is able to resist a lot of enemy attacks. That is why today's post is dedicated to this card, Queen of Crows and these are the battles of the day:
Today's two battles share several cards in their strategy, but their purpose is different between the two battles in spite of that: In this first battle the first card in formation is one of my favorite cards of the DEATH deck, the legendary card: Harklaw, an extremely resistant card, not only because it has good life point stasts, but also thanks to its set of abilities like "Shield" and "Immnunity" it is able to resist various enemy attacks and also negative effects, but in addition it also has one of my favorite abilities "Demoralize", really this card is very good. In second position is a card with another of my favorite abilities of all Splinterlads "Reach", that card is: The Gorlodon and although I like this card a lot, one of the negative aspects I see in this card is that it has a poor amount of speed points, with only 1 speed point, this card is extremely slow despite how powerful and resistant thanks to its 12 life points (in LVL 2). In the third position I placed the protagonist card of today: Queen of Crows, a card which little by little I am liking to use in my strategies, especially for its ability "Close Range", I have not yet seen what this card is capable of doing at higher LVL, but I hope it continues to be as useful as it is just in LVL 1.
In fourth position I placed another card with the ability "Demoralize" in case Harklaw was eliminated, this card is: Octopider, a card of the Rank Attack type, which also has a good amount of life points and I remember that this card almost never used it, until I realized that it could be very useful and so it was. The last two cards in this formation, as well as the two previous ones are also of the Rank Attack type, being in penultimate position: Dark Ferryman and in last position one of the oldest cards of the whole game, a card of the BETA edition: Twisted Jester.
In this second battle at least 3 cards are repeated compared to the first battle (being one of them, logically, Queen of Crows), so this was the strategy for this battle: In first and second position again are: Harklaw and The Gorlodon respectively. In third position I placed one of my favorite cards at design level and in terms of stats is a card equally powerful and useful as any other, that card is: Djinn Muirat, this card not only at design level seems to me one of the best in the whole game, but it is also a Magic Attack type card which is quite complete in terms of stats and skills, this card I would like to have it at maximum LVL, but for that I need to completely improve my collection.
In card position is a card that doesn't need much introduction: Spirit Miner, which I used in this specific battle, because most of the cards in this battle have a slightly lower amount of speed points, so Spirit Miner's ability is perfect for this occasion. In penultimate position is the protagonist card of today: Queen of Crows, while in last position I placed: Dhampir Stalker.
