I wish you a good day for those who reached this post.
The Splinterlands team made an extremely difficult decision to reduce the employee size by roughly 45%.
This was really a disheartening event for those who got fired. I feel sorry for them.
I'm sure the Splinterlands team will overcome this crisis and re-recruit those good team members.
Moving forward, Splinterlands brought another 'Share Your Battle Challenge' and this week's featured theme is DRAGON.
Like the previous challenges, I'll share my best battle this week using the summoner and monsters from the Dragon splinter.
I'll also share my strategy, team combination, and thoughts about the Dragon splinter.

Things I Like About Dragons
The best thing about dragons is that they can be your pet.. Just kidding.. :)
Versatility.. Yes, the best thing about Dragons is that they are versatile.
You can use literally any splinter combined with the Dragon splinter.
The majority of the monsters from Dragon splinter are a bit costlier as most of them are legendary, but they also have many abilities.
Dragon splinter has a wide range of summoners having buff and debuff effects for every type of attack.
Daria Dragonscale and Camila Sungazer for the melee attack, Selenia Sky and Quix The Devious for the ranged attack, and Delwyn Dragonscale for the magic attack.
Then again, the Archmage Arius can be used for all three attacks.
About the monsters, the dragon splinter is filled with great cards, such as Agor Longtail, Chaos Dragon, Black Dragon, Gold Dragon, Menticore, Carnage Titan, Red Dragon, to name a few of them.
Moreover, with a bit more mana cost, you can build a deadly team from the Dragon splinter.
THE BATTLE
Now, I'll share with you an interesting battle I fought and won using the dragon summoner Delwyn Dragonscale and monsters from the dragon splinter.
RULESET
Mana Cap: 56
Ruleset:
Equal Opportunity- All monsters have the opportunity ability.
Active Splinter: Fire, Earth, Life, Dragon.
My Strategy and Team Setup
SUMMONER
Playing with a strong magic attack team is always my first preference and for this battle, I chose the Delwyn Dragonscale as I intended to use a magic attack-based team.
TEAM SETUP
As the only ruleset here was 'equal opportunity' I planned to use speed advantage and eliminate enemy monsters that are weak in health.
That's why I used a monster Diamond Dragon with the 'slow' ability and a monster Spirit Miner with the 'swiftness' ability.
First Position
Mycelic Slipspawn
With its 'taunt' ability, Mycelic Slipspawn acts greatly as a tank.
It has a chunk of health and good magic attack power. It also has good speed.
Moreover, it's a good card to use as a tank.
Second Position
Spirit Miner
Spirit Miner has 'swiftness' ability which is very crucial in the 'equal opportunity' ruleset.
Apart from making the team monsters faster, it can also deal 2 magic damage.
Best card to use in the 2nd position.
Third Position
Diamond Dragon
I used Diamond Dragon in the 3rd position.
It possesses the 'slow' ability that reduces the speed of opponent monsters. And it has 10 armors which makes it perfect for a backdoor tank.
Fourth Position
Runemancer Florre
Runemancer Florre is a bit costlier, but it can deal double damage, magic damage, and ranged damage.
It's more useful in the 'unprotected' ruleset but I used it because of its big health and speed.
A perfect monster for the 4th position.
Fifth Position
Goblin Psychic
A bit slower, but the Goblin Psychic has the useful 'tank heal' ability and it can deal 2 magic damage.
A useful addition to my team.
Sixth Position
Wood Nymph
Another 'tank heal' monster, Wood Nymph placed in the last position.
With these two 'tank heal' monsters, the tank monsters can be healed and last longer on the battlefield.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked absolutely amazing in this battle.
First, it was a great strategy to use a monster Diamond Dragon with the 'slow' ability and a monster Spirit Miner with the 'swiftness' ability in this battle, otherwise, some of my monsters may get dead before they can make any attack.
Then Delwyn Dragonscale increased my team's attack power greatly.
The Mycelic Slipspawn acts great as a tank. With its 'taunt' ability, it soaked all the damage in the first round, thus all the other monsters of my team remained safe.
Two monsters, the Goblin Psychic and, the Wood Nymph with the 'tank heal' ability did their job nicely and healed the monsters in the tank position a few times and at the same time dealt good damage to the enemy team.
The Diamond Dragon did the final blow on the enemy team and eliminated the Time Meddler to bring home the winning.
