Oh, there's a reason- the Reward Pool stays about the same size, from D2D, but as people's ratings climb, they grab a bigger and bigger part of the Pool each day.
Your Rewards SHOULD stay about the same each day- as long as your rating/league increases by 20% each day- otherwise, it will drop.
Ie. yesterday, I was making ~100 DEC/win- in Gold I. Today, I am making ~80 DEC/win- in Gold II. If I continue winning and climbing, I should make about 100 DEC/battle by the end of the day....
BUT as all the B3s become B2s and start getting DEC, then become B1s and start making decent $$..... it REALLY drains the Reward Pool, so everyone makes less/win.

We get more dec at the beginning of the season and it slowly decreases as we approach the end of season.
