Like you, I've found success with just level 2 archons as most players are still at level 1. I can't wait to get my cards to MAX level as well. I hated Frontier mode at first, but the FOMO of lucky draws got me to level up and leveling up made winning so much easier. The Fire archon is currently only 8 cents so i think I'll get him to level 3 as well as the other rares and commons to level 4. It should only cost just over a dollar. Well worth it!
