Good morning Splinterlands lovers!
I hope all of you are happy and enjoying the game at it’s best! The season has already ended and I guess all pf you have claimed your season loot chests by now. Sadly, I couldn’t reach the top leaderboard of diamond this time and thus decided to tier up to champ III minutes before season end. I was performing well at first and reached to 4050 trophies for 10k dec and was so close to reaching the 20k dec prize. But then I started to lose like hell and got thrown out of the leaderboard soon after. It also got revealed that I am vulnerable against the byzantine Kitty summoner and losing matches mostly when opponent is using kitty summoner. I don't hold the kitty summoner in red -dog acc and currently its price gone beyond moon. So I better find or make some strategies especially to counter this damn kitty 🐈⬛
Now, let us take a quick peak at the current crypto market to see what’s going on in there. So, the main market dominator BTC is currently experiencing a good uptrend and being sold for 40,776$ with a +3.0% price change in last 24 hours. The other giant ETH is also following the uptrend with bitcoin and currently being traded for 2,754.35$ with a +4.1% price change in last 24 jours. Hive also caught a nice uptrend just recently and now being sold for 0.935$ per unit with a +10.3% price growth in last 24 hours.
The current scenario of splinterlands token market also seems stable with steady growth. The main in game token DEC is currently being traded for 0.00306$ per unit with a slight 0.02% change from last day. While SPS is being sold currently at 0.110$ with -5.4% orice change which is just after a sudden green candle it got. Hope it catches a good trend here cause it’s been down around 0.100$ for a while now. Vouchers also gained a little +2.72% price in last 24 hours and currently being sold for 1.083$ per unit.
Now, as we have updated ourselves with the market, let now jump back into splinterlands as today, I am going showcase an awesome match that I played today. DRAGONS vs Humans? Is it possible for mere humans living in splinterlands to fight against those mightiest winged creatures? They breath liquid fire and melt down mountains, their shining claws can tear apart the thickest stone castles, they rule the skies ⛅️ and feed on the earth 🌍 and humans are nothing but a decent snack to them. But humans, they never surrender, they don’t fight, they run , they hide .. or get burned 🔥. But never have they ever accepted their fate as they are fighting still, wounded and exhausted, looking for a way to change their fate and kill those fire breathers once and for all.
But how?
The high council Hall of the Life territory has already got filled with all the kings and Leaders from almost all the small and big regions across the Life realm. This time, they are planning to attack full scale in a Dragon cave consists of several dragons. This time however, the strategy us different. The Peakrider, legendary leader has taken the charge as the active summoner, and this time, he is going full defensive at the front while the rear positions will be used after those newbie monster soldiers who just got recruited from the chaos region. All the others voted upon the decision. Peakrider after all, has a good long term goodwill and respect in life territory and everyone look him as a different leader than others. But some questioned anyway, how we are going to defence those deadly magic blasts with our armours that can only be effective against arrows 🏹 and swords ⚔️ ? But Peakrider confronted them as said the all are settled but will remain undisclosed until the real attack. Element of surprise, is it what he is trying to make his whole attack strategy about?
Little did they know, Peakrider already had traveled to North, had his secret meeting held with the Neutral elders, and received their help for the war that contains a promising defence against Magic blast, the core problem that made them so vulnerable against dragons 🐉 .
After several days of cross checking his secret strategy and practising with all the fellow soldiers in a secret underground bunker, he finally got what he wanted. No more wasting time now, tomorrow we go to war!
‘Tomorrow, we retaliate! Tomorrow we defeat our greatest threat and gift our future generation a better place to live in! Are you ready my fellow brother and sister?’ - Peakrider said in a high speech while standing up and raising his Glass towards all his fellow fighters. All cheers back and replied him with their loudest war cry 🐺.
Next day, the war platoon of Peakrider starts marching to the dragon cave and his strategic lineup finally got revealed! And it’s very much different than people used to see.
GELATINOUS CUBE
The first position of the attack lineup was occupied by Cube. Peakrider managed to convince the Cube finally to join the noble cause. Cube contains 1 speed 13 health in it’s max level but it also contains 3 powerful abilities - scavenger, heal and void. Because of the The Viid ability, the cube gets less damage from magic attack and the heal ability upon that will help it regain it’s lost health back every round. The scavenger ability on top of that will increase it’s max health by 1 each time a monster dies in this battle.
CORNEALUS
The second place was honorary given to Sir. Cornealus. Cornealus is great defence against all kinds of attacks so it has a good reputation in the Defence Club. It possesses 4 range attack at 3 speed with 12 health along with heal, thorns, return fire and magic reflect ability which are answers for each the of attacks. So over, thats a great defence already at the front for those gigantic flying creature.
PRISMATIC ENERGY
What! The peakrider has chosen the Prismatic Energy in the third place of his lineup. Another monster with void and magic reflect ability will be effective without any doubt. A max Prismatic Energy contains 3 magic attack 5 speed 11 health along with the magic reflect and void ability.
ADELADE BRIGHTWING
After filling the first 3 places with anti magic high health monsters, peakrider chose Adelade Brightwing, on of the new chaos recruits at the fourth position of his lineup. The overall stats of this monster seems very uncommon, it contains 2 magic attack at 1 speed with 5 health along with - flying, repair, resurrect, immunity and swift ability. Thats 5 ability in a monster so he performing exception in the battle or the cost won’t be worth it.
PELACOR ARBALEST
The fifth place got acquired by another chaos monster, Pelacor Arbalest. This new recruit has some great potential in battlefield as seen in recent past. A max level Arbalest has 3 range attack at 3 speed with 5 health along with 2 abilities - flying and Double strike. Because if the double strike ability, this monster can attack 2 times back to back so can be very deadly.
PRISMOLOGIST
At the last place of his lineup, Peakrider chose another newly recruited chaos monster, The Prismologist. The particular reason behind putting this card at the rear most position is it’s Forcefield ability that takes takes only 1 damage from enemy attacks of 5 or more. A max level prismologist contains 4 range attack at 2 speed with 2 armour and 5 health along with blast, forcefield and Silence ability. The Silence ability will also help a lot against dragons who mostly carry magic power.
The while platoon reached in front of the dragon cave slowly and quietly. But unlike human, dragon ears can listen more and the moment peakrider’s platoon entered the cave, their footstep vibration knock those furious dragons out of their sleep, and what happens next … IS A TOTAL CHAOS!
As those dragon got aware of the human presence, they immediately started flying away from their hideout to the open sky to protect their children. Within a blink of an eye, four of the mightiest dragons of splinterlands, the Gold dragon, Lightning Dragon, Chaos Dragon and Diamond Dragon formed a super attack formation up in the sky. And oh… it seems that They also took the help of the Neutral and Life elders as they placed the Arihanthus at front and the Warrior of Peace at the second position to protect themselves from the human attacks. Their lineup seems impossible to break, 4 dragons and 3 of them are magic dragons, so hope peakrider’s so called special secret strategy works this time.
Just before the battle starts, it turns out the Prismologist did well with it’s silence ability and reduced all magic enemy attacks while the peakrider himself reduced the only range enemy lightning dragon’s attack power. The enemy Warrior of peace also reduced all of peakrider’s range and magic monster attacks so that thing better get down ASAP. The the monsters in the battle field got blast ability throu the ruleset and dragon already have blast by default, so the stakes were luckily higher on the human side this time.

As first round of the battle started, the lightning dragon attacked first with his blast range and reduced the shields of both my cube and Cornealus and also stunned the cube, however, he got return damaged by the corn. The prisma attacked next and damaged both arihanthus and peace, but got magic reflect in return. Next, all those 3 magic dragons attacked one after another upon my cube and corn and damage their health badly, but also got magic reflect damage in return from the corn. Ok so Peakrider survived the first dragon wave without losing any friendly monster so that’s just great! Afterwards, the corn attacked and damaged the first 2, followed by the Arbalest, who attacked double time as promised, but 1 attack only, he couldn't do a dent in the arihanthus, but brought decent damage upon the peace with the help of blast. Adelade brought back some armour on cube with its repair ability after that and also damaged the Arihanthus and peace with its 2 magic attack. The Prismologist attacked at last but stupidly missed it
At second round, the lightning dragon attacked first again and reduced both the shields of cube and corn down to 1 and got return damage from corn which decreased its health down to 5. After the cubes weak blast attack, the dragons started attacking again starting with diamond dragon, Gold dragon and Chaos dragon dragon at last, all attacking again upon my cube and made its health down to 3. The corn next healed back its health to 10 but missed its attack upon the arihanthus. Arbalest attacked next and successfully lauched both of its blast attacks. The adelade repaired back cubes armour again and lauched its decent magic attack and damaged the first 2 but took magic reflect damage in return.
and at the end of second round, the arihanthus was left only with 3 health remaining followed by warrior of peace with 4 health. So thats a great performance by humans inspite of having reduced attacks. As the third round stared, the lightning dragon attacked first again and reduced my cube and corn’s shield, also gook return fire damage from corn and reduced its health down to 4. After the prisma’s magic attack, the 3 mighty dragons attacked again one after another. Unluckily, the chaos dragon attacked upon the Prismologist and Arbalest due to it’s scattershot ability while the rest 2 of them attacked the peakrider’s front 2 cards. But somehow, the front defence consumed the attacks and still stood alive. The corn healed it back afterwards and attacks its blast range, damaging the both front cards. The Arbalest attacked next and finally killed the first enemy card warrior of peace and sion after, all the debuffs on peakrider’s range and magic monsters got faded away and all the friendly monsters got their true power back. The adelade acted quickly after that and repaired back the corn’s armour this time, followed by her decent magic attack to arihantus and finally, she killed down the main threat Arihanthus, thou she got damaged back with the magic reflect of both Gold dragon and Ari and lost her health down to 1. The prismologist attacked at last and damaged both of them, leaving gold dragon with 4 health and Lightning Dragon with only 2.
At the begin of the fourth round, the peakrider is smiling cause things have turned entirely and favouring him right now with 2 dead monsters on the enemy side without any casualties yet. As the round stars, the lightning dragon attacked first again and damaged both cube and corn, but also got return fore damage and reduced its health down to 1. The prisma attacked next and again killed down another enemy, the lightning dragon and left the Gold dragon with 1 remaining health. The 3 dragons started attacking again and damaged my cube and corn heavily. The gold dragon also healed its health back to 4 in meantime. But soon after, the gold dragon got caught finally and killed down by the Albarest. The Adelade attacked next and damaged the chaos dragon’s health down to 3 and also repaired the cube’s armour back to 2. The prismologist attacked at last and again she failed the target the enemy and missed her range attack.
At the beginning of the fifth round, only 2 enemy dragons were alive, the Chaos Dragon with 3 health left and the Diamond Dragon with 2 health left, while the peakrider hasn't lost any fellow soldier till mow! The results are pretty clear by now and the human side is preparing for their last attack. As the round starts, The prismatic energy howled it’s weird intergalactic war cry and then with it’s speedy 3 magic blast, it beat down both of them dragon with a single shot! All of the humans and neutral elders jumped out in air and howled together with great victorious voice as they have done the unthinkable. After Thousand of years of hiding and fighting, humans finally got their first win against the deadliest dragons. Most of them started bursting with emotions - an unified mixture of joy, sorrow, pain and excitement. But where is Peakrider? Where is the true hero of this epic war? Oh.. there he is.. sitting at the cliff of the mountain, watching the rising sun hitting the battleground with it’s brightest rays, making the dragon corpses more visible to splinterlands that scream out an unbelievable story.
‘Maybe he has already started racing his head for the next strategic step! Just hope he doesn’t throw me out for my miserable performance today,’ - the wounded Prismologist said while bandaging the dragon burns on her body.
