Stake Those SPS Tokens
Have you been staking your SPS tokens? If not I can give you two good reasons as to why you should. BUT before I do that lets give a short description of what SPS is. The token known as SPS is a governance token for the game known as Splinterlands. The SPS token is designed to give power to the players of the game. Those holding the SPS token will help decide the direction the Splinterlands game is headed. There's multiple ways to get your hands on some SPS. The most popular way is getting them for "Free" in the ongoing airdrop. Being included in the SPS airdrop is easy. All one has to do is hold Splinterlands assets. You can also purchase them from exchanges like Hive-Engine. Once you get your hands on some SPS you will have the option of staking them.
Reason One To Stake SPS
The airdrop isn't the only pool that gives free SPS to Splinterland players/investors. There's a pool known as the SPS Staking Rewards Pool. Eventually the Staking Rewards Pool will have a more detailed system for earning the pool rewards but for the time being earning extra SPS is as easy as staking them. Currently the APR is a massive 213%. The APR goes up or down depending on how many SPS are staked. The more SPS staked the less APR earned from staking. If a large group unstake to sell their share then its possible the APR might go up.
Stake Your SPS Reason Two
The fourth edition of Splinterland Boosters are about to be introduced. Rumor has it that the presale of these boosters that contain cards from the edition that will be known as Chaos Legion will require players to have SPS Staked. This means if you want to buy Chaos Legion boosters during Pre-Sale you will need to have XXXX amount of SPS staked per Booster you want to purchase. There's no concrete information about how many staked SPS will be required to purchase a booster but I'm not taking any chances and been staking every SPS I can get my hands on.

I'm staking every SPS I can get my hands on! My bags are getting fat (but not as fat as I wish they were). I'm just waiting to see how many CL booster packs they will allow us during the presale. Hopefully it won't be another one of those messes like the first Land Presale was where only the programmers got a Region in the first 18 seconds.
I keep seeing the ups and dips of SPS and I want to start trading it but so far I managed to keep it passive with staking what I earn daily. I hear rumblings that the amount of packs an account can buy presale will be limited. That's not set in stone but its something being rumored. Personally I think its a good idea we don't want a bunch of pissed players being angry they didn't get a chance at some presale boosters.
I agree. Better to NOT sell out the presale then to have only half the players get packs that want them. Maybe they could offer the left over presale packs in a round 2 presale. Splinterlands is growing so fast lately, I doubt these packs will last that long anyway. So they better be spread around equally from the start.
In fact this is a very nice information have been hearing about spliterland but I never know what is all about not not until now that you really talking about sps you have really done well for educating us on this..
