Some recent upgrades have hit in the game of Splinterlands. Some of them are quite intriguing and most importantly players are loving it. Along the way, some of the resources are getting properly utilized. Hence the overall condition of the game is improving. Let's talk about one of those updates, which got the curiosity of the players and the outcome of the event was mostly successful. Thanks to the team.
Land has been a very crucial and an important part of SPlinterlands. Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of resources and cards are being used in the land of Splinterlands. Which makes it one of the most crucial part of Splinterlands. Lately, a lot has been going out there. Plots have been used for getting resources and those are generating revenues for players. Some whales have been making the proper usage of the land and they are literally printing money out of Splinterlands Land upgrade. Well, the amount of investments have been huge, that's also a point to notice. Bigger the risk, greater the profit!
Few days back Splinterlands made an announcement regarding the introduction of new cards which are going to be introduced into the game. The core purpose of these new edition cards were, they will be used in land for increasing the production of land resources. To be honest, this was probably one of the best update for land. It will not only increase the usage of land but it will also enhance the increase of production and give the boost required for a land owner to get the most out of their assets.
The best thing that happened after the introduction of these lands cards is we have been able to introduce a new sink for the resources. In the past, there were not many ways to utilize land resources once they were produced in the land. Which sort of backlashed for DEC. As resources has been acting as a way to acquire Dec within the game. Now these introduction of cards have given players a new way to utilize their resources apart from the traditional ways which we have seen in the past. Not to over implicate things but this approach has indeed proven successful. We can say this because the results are speaking for itself.
4 cards have been introduced. As you can notice Common Card (Tireless Farmhand)— Water has been sold out. Yes, you heard it correct. An announcement was made in the official discord channel of Splinterlands. Combining the resources which were used to purchase this card from Splinterlands, it needed 20000 Grain and 375 Cinder. Well, this approach worked perfectly, as the hype was real and we were able to make it work perfectly with everything that has been going on.
A sale of approximtaley 50k USD was done through this card. I must say, this number might be small for a game which has been running for such a long time but at this crucial moment of the game and since we are going through a very rough time, this has been more than a blessing. Also this approach has made the players realize that there are more and more ways arriving in the game where there assets will hold value no matter what. More ways are being introduced for the players of Splinterlands to make their long term investments worthwhile.
Do not forget, there are three more cards awaiting for grab in the Card Forge arena. These are Rare, Epic and Legendary cards. Since, they are going to be little pricy, they will probably take some time to sell. But make no mistake these are going to sell out pretty soon as seen on the purchase order.

Well, the good news is we have something new and it is working for the time being. As this will not act as a permanent solution but for now it will act as a sink for the current resources. Which will allow to think or come up with different ideas for the upcoming days for the game of Splinterlands. I suppose, all the experiments which are being made in the game, not every one of them will be successfull, as it never actually happens. But those which will click and get approved by the community, it will be a banger. As every game or a project solely depends on dedicated team members, generous investors/whales and most importantly teh active community members of that prticular project.
Everything takes time and once we are on track it will be something to cherish for in the long run. Until then going forward is the best plan we can count on! Keep grinding and DYOR on every penny you invest onchain.

After this land card introduction i am curious how many plots are now being activated if we have we now crossed the 50% land production.
