Weekly battle mage secrets in Odd Ones Out EN/JP

This time, I will share my strategy and the battles of this week in the Odd Ones Out rule.

Approach:

In Odd Ones Out battles, the pool of available units is significantly limited, making it challenging to create a team with strong synergies. Both you and your opponent are bound by the same restrictions, so the key to success lies in effectively combining the limited units at your disposal.

Practical Example

VOID DRAGON

This unit is an excellent front-line choice due to its evasion against physical attacks, resistance to magic attacks, and high HP.

SPIRIT HOARDER

Since the rule in this battle is magic reflection, this unit is included as it can attack while healing.

KRA'AR XOC

This unit's HP increases as it chips away at the opponent's units. The expectation was that SPIRIT HOARDER's healing would support this strategy. However, since the opponent didn't deploy a Sneak unit and had only one unit, this plan didn't fully materialize.

The battle turned into a lengthy one, but victory was achieved through the resilience of VOID DRAGON and the favorable synergy with the summoner.

It appears that VOID DRAGON's durability played a significant role in this match, and the synergy with the summoner was also advantageous.

考え方
Odd Ones Outでは大きく利用可能なユニットが制限されるので、基本的にはシナジーがある編成をすることが難しくなります。相手も同じ制約のなかで戦うことになるので、いかに限られたユニットをうまく組み合わせるかが大切です。

実践例

VOID DRAGON
物理攻撃への回避性能と魔法攻撃の耐性、高いHPで非常に優秀な前衛です。

SPIRIT HOARDER
今回は魔法反射のルールなので、回復しながら攻撃できるこのユニットを入れています。

KRA'AR XOC
相手のユニットを削ることができればHPが増えます。SPIRIT HOARDERが回復してくれることに期待しましたが、とくに相手もSneakではなく、１体のみの編成だったため無駄になってしまいました。

かなりの長期戦になりましたが、なんとか勝利することができました。
やはりVOID DRAGONの耐久性が非常に活躍する試合になったと思います。サモナーとの相性もよかったですね。
