Hello there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
After months of waiting, the new Conclave Arcana Reward Cards have finally been released, replacing Rebellion rewards in the Glint shop and league advancement chest. It is a set of 43 new cards that has been available since October 21st, and has completely overhauled the reward system by having both soulbound cards that need to be unlocked first before they become tradeable, as well as making premium cards that can be tradeable on the get go, bringing back the excitement to players when getting their rewards (as well as the salt from players that did not get any of the chase cards 😂).
In this post, I want to share with you all the new reward cards and some of my early thoughts about them.

Conclave Arcana Reward Cards
Similar to Rebellion Rewards, Conclave Arcana rewards will also consist of 43 cards. 12 each for Common, Rare, and Legendary, while the remaining 7 are all Epic cards, wherein all the regular versions of the cards are soulbound when the player first gets them in chests or card draws, while the gold foil versions can be traded and transferred immediately. Aside from that, the new reward cards were also available in Black Foil, Gold Foil Arcane, and Black Foil Arcane, which can only be won by participating in the Weekly Fortune Draw that requires 125 DEC to enter.
When it comes to the regular foil, while they were set to be soulbound, players can unbind them by using Unbinding Scrolls, which is present in chests, but players can also buy them directly with either Credits or DEC at 5x of the card's collection power or by crafting them through Aura.
Anyway, back to the topic. Here are the new Conclave Arcana Rewards.

With the common rewards, we got 2 units for each element aside from Dragon. Seven of them were melee units, while there were only three range units and 2 magic units. Most of the cards have abilities we've already seen recently, aside from the Pinpoint ability on Magmaforged that makes all sneak attacks of any allied units not to miss their target. It's like giving all your Sneak units with the True Strike ability.

Pinpoint - Allied sneak attacks can not miss.

For rare rewards, both melee and range have three units each, while 6 units have magic damage, and for the new ability, Dragon Lancer has the Reflexes ability, which, after a successful attack against this unit, all following attacks from that unit will miss for the rest of the round, including attacks from dual damage units as well as Armored Strike. It will also ignore attacks from True Strike as well as magic damage, even without Phase.

Reflexes - After the first successful attack by an attacker against this unit, all subsequent attacks from that unit miss for the rest of the round.

For epics, both melee and range have 2 units each, while the other 3 were magic units. There are no new abilities within the Epic rewards, but 3 of the units have the Bloodline Tribute ability that will increase the stats of cards with the same bloodline by +1 when the owner of the ability was defeated. The reason I mention it is that it is a little weird that all the units Bloodline Tribute currently do not have an Archon that shares the same bloodline, and with this card getting this ability may imply the bloodline of the upcoming Archons.

With legendary units, there are 4 melee, 5 range, and 3 magic units in total, all of which look really powerful, especially at maxed level, but the particular card that I was most curious about was Savaketh with its Invigorate ability that prevents Weary units from being exhausted. Originally, the debilitation was placed on those units to balance them out with their insane stats in comparison with their mana cost, but all of a sudden, those debilitations are now gone. I can also see this as a must-have along with Heloise the Hollow and other units with Soul Siphon that give Weary to an allied unit every time it gets to self-resurrect with 100% armor and 50% of its max health restored.

Invigorate - Allied units can not be Exhausted.

Conclave Arcana Rewards Sorted by Bloodline

The reason that I sorted it this way was to know which Bloodline has the most units available, and maybe get a hint of what will potentially be the possible bloodline of the upcoming Archons. Because if we look on Loving the Moo, he has a Canisan Bloodline that can also summon Elemental units, but very few cards with this bloodline have existed in modern until more were added in the rewards. So I assume that when I find bloodlines that have a large number of units despite not having a bloodline archon, chances are, the next archons will likely have those bloodlines. And in this set of rewards, 7 units with Avian bloodline, 6 units with Djinn Bloodline, and 4 units with Undead Bloodline, which tells me that we may get Archons with Avian, Djinn, and Undead bloodlines, and they can also be any combination of these bloodlines.

Closing
All in all, I really love the current rewards set, and feel like every one of them is a must-have. It's just that with the price of rarity draws and loot chests being doubled, it will be hard to say if I can max all of the cards, especially when I was not able to complete both my Chaos Legion and Rebellion Soulbound rewards, but with the unbinding of the CA soulbound rewards now made easier and cheaper, I might consider buying the missing cards in the market, then trade any premium cards that I get.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
