Hello, great warriors of Splinterlands, I hope all of you are doing good and feeling well. Today I am sharing my entry for the weekly battle challenge "THEME: MANTOID" which is offered and organized by @splinterlands. Element: NEUTRAL
Rarity: COMMON
Edition: UNTAMED

ABOUT: MANTOID

MANTOID is a Ranged attack Common Monster from the Neutral Splinter. The ranged attack monsters can only attack from distance and are not able to attack from the front row one ruleset. It costs 6 mana, gives -2 ranged damage, and having Snipe ability at the lowest level. At the level maximum level, it gives -4 Ranged damage and also gets Snare ability.

Battle Lineup And Link

Battle Ruleset

The ruleset was of Fog Of War and Reverse Speed. The mana cap was 42 and Earth, Death Summoners were not active.

Battle Summoner

I choose BORTUS as a Summoner for this battle, which is an Untamed edition Rare Water Splinter Summoner. The ability of this Summoner is that It reduces -1 Magic attack of all Magic attack Monsters of the enemy team. I have upgraded it to level 4.

1. SEA MONSTER

In the first position, I used SEA MONSTER which is a Melee attack Common Water Monster. I like this monster and usually use it in the first position because of its Healing ability and also for -5 Melee damage. Here I also used it for its Healing ability and -5 Melee damage. I have upgraded it to level 5 for -5 Melee damage.

2. PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS

In the second position, I used PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS which is a Magic attack Legendary Water Monster. I used it in the second position because it is a Magic attack monster and can do attack from all positions. At level 1 it has two abilities Flying(Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability) and Dodge(Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks). At level 4, it gains two more abilities Demoralize and Headwinds.

3. AZMARE HARPOONIST

In the third position, I used AZMARE HARPOONIST which is an untamed edition Ranged attack Epic water Splinter Monster. At the lower level, it has Snare ability and gives -3 ranged damage in each round. I used it here because of its high Ranged damage. Currently, I have level 1.

4. CRUSTACEAN KING

In the fourth position, I used CRUSTACEAN KING which is a Ranged attack Common Water Splinter Monster. It has Tank Heal(Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round) ability. I used it in the fourth position because of its ranged attack and will restore the health of the monster in the first position. I have upgraded it to level 3 for -1 ranged damage.

5. MANTOID

In the fifth position, I used the theme of weekly challenge MANTOID which is an untamed edition Ranged attack Common Neutral Splinter Monster. At the lower level, it has Snipe ability and gives -2 ranged damage. I used it here because of its high Ranged damage. I have upgraded it to level 4 for -3 Ranged damage.

6. WATER ELEMENTAL

In the Last position, I used WATER ELEMENTAL which is a beta edition Ranged attack Rare water Splinter Monster. At the lower level, it has Heal ability and gives -2 ranged damage in each round. I used it in the fourth position because it is a ranged attack Monster and can only attack from distance and also if a monster in the enemy team having Sneak ability attack on it so it will be able to restore its health. I have upgraded it to level 3 for -3 Ranged damage.

Yes, I like MANTOID and mostly use it in my battles because I have upgraded it to level 4 and give -3 ranged damage.
