Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 180 // Celestial Harpy Fan Art

Hi everyone!
I have been working on improving my art this time I draw Celestial Harpy. It was very difficult for me to finish this one because I think my laptop screen start to show in accurate color it might look super saturated in some screen but what I see in my screen is now so much saturated. But I am still happy with the result of this one.

I am using krita as my software and a graphic tablet.

As always I start my drawing with a sketch. At this point I was debating what should I do with her feet because it doesn't show in her artwork.

In here I am starting to inking my sketch. It is still rough though. Also I decided to make a bird feet to make her look more avian.

The next think that I did was set the color of my background and put on some clothes to her cuz I don't want her to be naked.

Added the base color. I am also doing flip here and there to make sure I get the proportion look more natural and realistic.

I had a lot of challenges getting what I wanted for her skin to look like. I had like a vampire color and brown skin tone. I don't know if her skin tone is purpleish and pinkish but I do like it more than the first two so I go with it.

Also I accidentally deleted the feet base color layer without knowing so I have to redo it.

After I got the skin tone that I like everything was much easier.
I added the clothes or feathers.

Her feet. Btw as I go through the parts of her body I am tweaking some thing here and there. In case you are wondering why there are no line in some areas. I did it on purpose just for experimentation if it looks good overall.

I also redo her hands because it looks really weird in my first sketch. Added her hair and wings and that is it!
