Hello Splinterlands Community
I've been playing Splinterlands for many months but this is the first time I am joing the Fan art contest.
I've learned about this contest in one of my friend in our Guild and also learned about hive blog.

SPLINTERLANDS FAN ART SOUL STRANGLER

This is my Artwork A Chaos Rare DEATH unit.

• Android phone
• Stylus pen
• MediaBang (Android App)

Steps or My drawing Process

The First thing I did was sketching and picturing the SOUL STRANGLER
strangling a soul.

After Sketching I outlined my drawing in preparation for the next process which is coloring. You can also notice that I've change the skull thing on my sketch because I want to make it A little transparent to make it look like a soul.

Then I Started coloring. I started with the cloth added some shadows and light effects.This time I temporarily removed the soul drawing because it will messed up my coloring process.

After that I colored the Skin, I base the color on the Splinterlands card for it to make look alike.

Then I began Adding shadows and other coloring details on the face and hands

Then I colored the Finger nails and added some details to make it more sharp.

The Tricky Part

The Hardest part is coloring the soul without messing with my existing coloration. I need to make it a little transparent.
What I did was I adjusted the opacity of the brush to make it look like a little transparent. I also Applied some light colors to make it more real.

Why Purple?

I chose purple for coloring the soul because I also want to make it represent the DEATH LOGO on Splinterlands which is also colored in purple plus it blends perfectly with my existing colors.

BACKGROUND

I made the background a light purple on the top and dark at the bottom.
I also added a small details like the Tomb stone to make it more like a death scene and also added grass shadows on the background.

Final result

Blending my background to my drawing

Now the soul is about to get strangle buy out SOUL STRANGLER!!
