Hola comunidad he tenido unos días muy agitados y quiero contar en este post lo que ha ocurrido.
El martes en la mañana me levante como todos los días para alimentar a mis gatos, aproximadamente a las siete de la mañana escuche a una vecina llamarme algo alarmada, al asomarme a la ventana vi en una de sus manos un pequeño siamés que abandonaron en la zona, su perrita le alertó que el pequeño andaba por allí. Le dije que yo me encargaría, me lo entregó. Allí comenzó lo bueno.
Al recibir al pequeño me di cuenta de que tenía una terrible diarrea y además un prolapso, calenté agua y le di un baño ya que toda su parte trasera estaba llena de excremento, además el olor de sus heces me indicó que algo no andaba bien que algún parásito malvado era el causante de la diarrea y del prolapso, que por cierto, es bastante frecuente en gatitos menores de seis meses, dedicaré otra publicación para que sepan mas al respecto.
Como proteccionista mi labor depende de donaciones, así que sin imágenes y difusión en redes sociales no se logra nada. Tome fotografías y comence a preguntarle a veterinarios conocidos y amigas.
Es importante para mí que los que diagnostiquen sean los veterinarios, porque son los profesionales calificados para hacerlo, gracias a las donaciones logre llevar al bebé al Veterinario. Quien por cierto sólo pesa 400 gramos.
Así es, como el día de ayer, lleve al pequeño a una Clínica Veterinaria, los veterinarios confirmaron varias de las opiniones de amigas y de otros veterinarios , Chiquito tenía un prolapso. El veterinario me explicó que esto era bastante común en gatitos y que si ya habíamos intentado reintroducir aplicando primero hielo en la zona afectada y luego empujando con el dedo meñique y el tejido habla vuelvo a salir había que realizar una cirugía menor para reubicar el tejido del intestino en su lugar. Así que por el bien del bebé di mi autorización para el procedimiento.
Fue así, como pase dos horas esperando por el resultado, sin comer y con mucho calor pues debido a la pandemia no podía quedarme dentro de la clínica.
Al salir de la clínica fuimos a la farmacia para comprar algunas cosas que se necesitarían para atender a este bebe gasas, alcohol, agua oxigenada, toallitas húmedas, desparasitante para repartir su dosis dentro de 15 días.
Creí que allí todo comenzaría a fluir y resulta que hoy jueves en la mañana el bebé tenía un tapón de heces que no lograba expulsar solo, así que ante esta situación corrí de nuevo a la clínica y allí solucionaron, ademas me explicaron que hacer en caso de reincidir, han sido tres días duros limpiando constantemente al bebé, el kennel, dándole alimento, las horas en la clínica, además de las labores de casa.
Me despido esperando sus comentarios que de además de agradecer los valoro un gran abrazo para ustedes.

On Tuesday morning I got up like every day to feed my cats, at about seven o'clock in the morning I heard a neighbor call me something alarmed, when I leaned out the window I saw in one of her hands a small Siamese that was abandoned in the area, her dog alerted her that the little one was there. I told her I would take care of it, she gave it to me. That's where the good part began.
When I received the little one I realized that he had a terrible diarrhea and also a prolapse, I heated water and gave him a bath since all his back part was full of excrement, besides the smell of his feces indicated me that something was not right that some evil parasite was the cause of the diarrhea and the prolapse, that by the way, is quite frequent in kittens under six months, I will dedicate another publication so that you know more about it.
As a protectionist my work depends on donations, so without images and diffusion in social networks nothing is achieved. Take pictures and start asking veterinarians and friends.
It is important for me that the vets are the ones who diagnose, because they are the qualified professionals to do so, thanks to the donations I was able to take the baby to the vet. Who, by the way, only weighs 400 grams.
So, as yesterday, I took the little one to a veterinary clinic, the vets confirmed several of the opinions of friends and other vets, Chiquito had a prolapse. The vet explained to me that this was quite common in kittens and that if we had already tried to reintroduce it by first applying ice to the affected area and then pushing with the little finger and the speech tissue came back out, we would have to perform a minor surgery to relocate the bowel tissue in its place. So for the baby's sake I gave my consent for the procedure.
I spent two hours waiting for the result, without eating and very hot because due to the pandemic I could not stay inside the clinic.
When we left the clinic we went to the pharmacy to buy some things that would be needed to take care of this baby: gauze, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, wet wipes, dewormer to deliver his dose within 15 days.
I thought that everything would start to flow there and it turns out that today, Thursday morning, the baby had a stool plug that he could not expel by himself, so in view of this situation I ran back to the clinic and there they solved it, they also explained to me what to do in case of a relapse, it has been three hard days constantly cleaning the baby, the kennel, giving him food, the hours in the clinic, as well as the housework.

Las personas desconocen cuan importante es la desparasitación temprana, oportuna y regular. Los parásitos fácilmente pueden matar a nuestras mascotas, ya sean perros o gatos. Dios quiera que este bebé se salve y crezca sano y fuerte. Un abrazo.
