As children at some point we created an expectation regarding our life for when we were teenagers and adults, many times at those ages we see some relatives with admiration, perhaps because of their way of being or we idealize it in our own way and think "when I grow up I would like to be like that"; "when I grow up I want to..." is a phrase that may recur much our mind as we move from children to adolescents, but behind it to get to fulfill it, there are efforts, sacrifices and desire to get ahead.
Quizás nunca pensamos en las responsabilidades que nos esperaban al comenzar la vida de adulto, que admito, es un proceso difícil, en nuestra imaginación en un pasado, pudimos haber pensado que la universidad era sencilla, que iríamos a clase, haríamos tareas, que saldríamos con nuestros amigos o compañeros, que podríamos ser independientes, etc., Pero no siempre es así de sencillo:
Perhaps we never thought about the responsibilities that awaited us when we started our adult life, which I admit, is a difficult process, in our imagination in the past, we may have thought that college was simple, that we would go to class, we would do homework, we would go out with our friends or classmates, we could be independent, etc., but it is not always that simple:
Existen aquellas personas que no pueden costearse una carrera, porque cumplir sus sueños lleva inversiones y, por lo tanto, trabajan y estudian al mismo tiempo. O aquellas que tienen que decidir entre dejar el dinero del desayuno para el autobús, o para las copias. Así como también hay quienes tienen todo sin necesidad de trabajar para ello.
There are those who can't afford a career, because fulfilling their dreams takes investment, and so they work and study at the same time. Or those who have to decide between leaving breakfast money for the bus, or for copies. Just as there are those who have everything without having to work for it.
Nunca juzguemos sin saber el esfuerzo que hace la otra persona para salir adelante, cada quien se esfuerza a su manera, porque muchas veces los estudiantes nos agobiamos, ya que estamos entrando a una nueva etapa y la mayor parte del tiempo, no sabemos cómo sobrellevar muchas cosas.
Let us never judge without knowing the effort that the other person makes to get ahead, everyone makes an effort in their own way, because many times we students get overwhelmed, since we are entering a new stage and most of the time, we do not know how to cope with many things.
Dentro de mi experiencia: La universidad es una etapa bonita, conocer nuevas personas para mí, siempre será la mejor opción. Mi carrera permite la formación en distintas materias, porque Hotelería y Servicios para la Hospitalidad, no es tender camas, es un área que te forma para llegar a ser gerente de un hotel, te brinda conocimientos en contabilidad, francés e inglés, te abre puertas en cualquier lugar del mundo y es una de las cosas que me gusta de ella. Es una carrera que requiere de mucho trabajo en equipo y muchas veces es difícil manejarlo, ya que no todos pensamos de la misma manera. También es una formación profesional que exige mucho económicamente y como lo dije anteriormente, algunos tienen la facilidad y otros deciden entre desayunar o colaborar para progresar.
Más allá de todo esto, son necesarios todos los conocimientos que la universidad nos deja para la vida, porque el sacrificio de hoy, nos dará el éxito mañana.
Within my experience: University is a beautiful stage, meeting new people for me will always be the best option. My career allows training in different subjects, because Hotel and Hospitality Services is not just a bed tender, it is an area that trains you to become a hotel manager, it gives you knowledge in accounting, French and English, it opens doors anywhere in the world and that is one of the things I like about it. It is a career that requires a lot of teamwork and many times it is difficult to manage it, since not all of us think in the same way. It is also a professional training that demands a lot economically and as I said before, some have the facility and others decide between having breakfast or collaborating to progress.
Beyond all this, all the knowledge that the university leaves us for life is necessary, because today's sacrifice will give us success tomorrow.
