RE: Is One the Lonliest Number?

in HiveBloPoMo3 years ago

Pine cones make delightful decor with a sprinkle of glitter, you remind me of finding round'ish small rocks with the children when young. Bringing them home from rivers inland and painting them into ladybugs and placing them throughout the garden.

Nothing need only be used for one occasion, plenty of days in the year to spread the love around. Every so often clearing in the garden out pops a ladybug full of memories.

Putting out food is ongoing in the land we live in, never waste there are plenty of people going to bed on an empty stomach..

Hugs and yes one is a lonely number....

Thanks for the Luv @joanstewart !! ❤️

You are always so polite. !LUV for the manners.

That is so sweet! It is those surprise gifts that keep giving that are so precious. I hope you have a few that you will pass to your kids (if they move in the future, I believe you said) I can only imagine them finding them in another land twenty years from now, what a delight that would be. :)

Oh, there I go dreaming again! :)

Yes, one of the reasons I stepped back from the holiday serving is that there are too many people there (can you believe, what a problem to have!) and during the year, always short, so it matters not to me when, as long as the need is filled. Nobody should have to go to bed hungry, especially those too young and old to provide for themselves.

Love to you and yours, Joan ❤️ @joanstewart

There was a craze at one time with "Pet Rocks" being sold from stores, so when we went to the mountains it made sense to bring the pebbles back and buy some oil paints. Definitely turned out to be a gift that keep giving 😉, had about six children paint and place them, now quite a few scattered in unusual places.

At festive season younger people appear to come out to assist, old stalwarts always there throughout the year either cooking, feeding or collecting groceries. Agree too many go hungry!

Have yourself a little break and enjoy the time to be with family and friends Denise, your countdown to Christmas well on it's way once again.
