The royal grandeur of past centuries...

I have always admired the grandeur of those eras, when ladies wore long dresses and rode carriages drawn by horses, hoofing on the cobblestones of ancient streets ...
Often loved wandering through the center of my city, Lviv, and filming horses riding along Svobody Avenue. Once I ordered such a carriage in honor of my son's birthday and we all rode majestically in a royal carriage, as if we were old-fashioned and felt like nobles :) However, it was a weekday and cars were driving nearby. And it interfered a little with my sense of being in the last century, where people walked or riding in carriages. But today my memories of Krakow, where my daughter Victoria and I arrived two years ago, and I first came to the central square.

Я завжди захоплювалася величчю тих епох, коли дами ходили в довгих платтях і їздили карети , запряжені конями, цокаючи копитами по бруківці старовинних вулиць...
Часто любила бродити центром мого міста Львів, та знімати на відео коней, які їхали по проспекту Свободи. Одного разу я замовила таку карету на честь Дня народження мого сина і ми всі разом велично їхали на королівській карети, наче потрапили у старовину і відчули себе вельможами :) Правда, це був будень і поряд їхали машини. І це трішки заважало моїм відчуттям перебування у минулому столітті, де ходили пішки або в каретах. Але сьогодні мої спогади про Краків, куди ми приїхали з Донькою Вікторією два роки тому і я вперше потрапила на центральну площу.

Then I was fascinated by these gigantic squares and majestic buildings! After all, Krakow with dignity served as the capital and residence of kings. And I'll tell you, the horses here are truly royal. We spent the whole day here to feel the atmosphere for which Krakow is called a magical city ...

Тоді я була захоплена цими гігантськими розмірами площі і величними будівлями! Адже Краків з гідністю виконував функції столиці і резиденції королів. І скажу тобі, тут коні справді королівські. Ми провели тут цілий день, щоб відчути ту атмосферу, за яку Краків називають магічним містом...

I enjoyed the mysterious arches and ancient churches. This city is very similar to my Lviv, and maybe my Lviv is similar to Krakow. After all, our histories and culture are so strongly intertwined and for centuries our peoples have loved and hated each other! But what happiness that now all this is left in history, and we can enjoy this cultural heritage, having only positive emotions and joy to travel!

Я насолоджувалася загадковими арками, та старовинними костелами. Це місто дуже схоже на мій Львів, а можливо мій Львів схожий на Краків. Адже наші історії та культура настільки сильно переплетені і віками наші народи любили і ненавиділи один одного! Але яке щастя, що зараз це все залишилось в історії, а ми можемо насолоджуватися цією культурною спадщиною, маючи лише позитивні емоції та радість подорожувати!
