LOL being here for so long I don't think of it so much but man you're really showing how much complexity goes on in the ecosystem, no wonder normies find it tough to get involved

The thing is, people won't really understand any of it unless they understand all of it.

On the other hand, do they really need to? I mean less than 0.1% of Facebook user base has any idea how the Facebook ecosystem works, so what's different with HIVE?

Can you still use HIVE without understanding how it all works? I'd say yes. The only thing you really need to know is how to create an account, how to log in and that's it. The posting, commenting and liking features are self explanatory.

I tend to agree that what you're creating is important for those who want to dive deeper, this type of content brings confidence to the project

But yes the majority don't know how their app, browser or credit card works, it just works, as if those tools weren't equally as clunky as blockchain when it started.

Those fundamentals are super important, the account creation, maintenance and such, I think its quite the big stumbling block for many as its an account and a wallet as one, which is rather confusing..

I'd actually like to see an option where the account is separate from the wallet so we can get users in fast and if they want to make use of the wallet feature they need to attach one by saying enable wallet and then load up some cash or go token begging lol

The important thing is to first get them in, then educate them, that's what all big tech companies did very well
