Yes, currently silver is trading at about $27 US/oz. Them maple coins go for about $32 or so.
It's good to know. Our old coins here seems no value at all.
Your old coins from US and Spanish colonial rule (Peso, 20 & 50 centavos, etc.) should have a decent silver content.
