Hello all, I haven't shared many travel posts lately because the weather is so hot that I don't even want to step outside, but when my parents decided to take a trip somewhere, I couldn't refuse them and we went to Zeyve Bazaar, which is probably one of the places you have seen the most in this community. I know it has been shared many times before, but in the end, different people mean different perspectives, so I wanted to see it from my point of view.
We were actually planning to go very early because it was Sunday and on weekends it gets really crowded and if you go early you can find a good place to have a picnic, otherwise it's very difficult. You have to be very lucky. Unfortunately, at the last minute my uncle had something to do and it delayed us for about 1.30 hours.
The first thing we saw as soon as we arrived was that it was really crowded. After looking everywhere we managed to find a suitable place for ourselves. Since we were also crowded, it was not possible to sit everywhere. We needed a wide place. We lit the fire and started preparing the menemen for breakfast. I can briefly define menemen as a spicy Turkish omelette.
There was no better opportunity to try out my new camera than here. I think I did a really good job taking this photo. The menemenemen cooking over the fire and coals really looks like it is boiling. Don't forget to let me know what you think of this photo, I think it's one of my masterpiece photos.
Many families around us had come for a picnic just like us. Since there is no better place to go in this area, people prefer to spend the weekend here. This place is great for a weekend in nature. I can't say that it is quiet and calm but at least there are no car noises disturbing you.
After having breakfast I went to visit the bazaar, which is why it is called Zeyve Bazaar. Even though it was very hot, it was quite crowded and there were many things for people to buy. For example, in the photo you can see someone selling boiled and roasted corn.
There are also places that sell cooking utensils such as sheet metal and grills. A lot of people bring their own meat here and cook it, so there are vendors like that in case some people forget their grill. I think it makes a lot of sense and I'm sure they sell quite well. Not everyone carries their grill with them.
That's how the vendors load vegetables and fruits on trucks and sell them. Watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, peppers, in short, everything that can be eaten with a barbecue is available here. We had already brought all of these from home, so we didn't buy them, but I saw many people buying them.
A view of the bazaar from top to bottom. You can see everything from local clothes to shoes. People are enjoying shopping. The trees that make my photo beautiful protect the people from the heat.
You can see how crowded it is by the number of cars. Some lucky people managed to park their cars in the shade and we were one of them, I can't imagine how hot it was inside the cars waiting in the sun.
This old red car caught my attention. I don't know how old it is but it looks very old and neglected. Some people don't care about their cars at all. In Turkey, when we see these very dirty cars we jokingly write "wash me" on the back XD If I knew the owner of this car I would write the same on this car because it looks like it hasn't been washed for a few years.
All the tools that people use to make bread and food in the village are sold here. Right next to it you can see storage containers made of wood, tools for crumbling things, rolling pins and many other things. The faces of the shoppers are smiling. I smiled too when I saw the woman. Happiness is contagious 😂.
This is how clothes and fabrics are sold in the market. People see, touch, like and buy. I can't say it is super hygienic, but that is not my problem. When my mom buys something from the market, she doesn't use it without washing it a few times. These are not the only things sold in the market, there are many more, but these are the ones I photographed.
Last but not least, I will share with you some beautiful photos I took there. I am really happy for the day I spent with nature. It was a priceless experience. When you are with the people you love in such places, you are free from your troubles. Even though @ezgicop is not with me, our souls are always together.
I almost forgot about this wonderful short video I shot with my cousin. Even though I didn't go under the water myself, I was scared and put my cousin's phone in. Hepinize merhaba, bu aralar pek fazla gezi postu paylaşamadım çünkü havalar o kadar sıcak ki dışarı adım bile atmak istemiyorum ama annemler bir yerlere gezmeye karar verince onları reddedemedim ve belki de bu toplulukta en çok gördüğünüz yerlerden biri olan Zeyve Pazarına gittik. Daha önce pek çok defa paylaşıldığını biliyorum ama sonuçta farklı insanlar farklı perspektifler demek bu yüzden bir de benim gözümden görün istedim.
Aslında yola çok erken çıkmayı planlıyorduk çünkü Pazar günüydü ve hafta sonları orası gerçekten çok kalabalık oluyor ve erken giderseniz kendinize piknik yapmak için iyi bir yer bulabilirsiniz aksi takdirde işiniz çok zor. Çok şanslı olmalısınız. Maalesef son anda dayımın bir işi çıktı ve o bizi yaklaşık 1.30 saat geciktirdi.
Gider gitmez gördüğümüz ilk şey gerçekten çok kalabalık olduğuydu. Her yeri iyice inceledikten sonra kendimize uygun bir yer bulmayı başardık. Biz de kalabalık olduğumuz için her yerde oturmamız mümkün olmuyor. Geniş bir yere ihtiyacımız vardı. Ateşi yaktık ve sabah kahvaltısında yiyeceğimiz menemen hazırlamaya başladık. Menemeni kısaca baharatlı Türk omleti olarak tanımlayabilirim.
Yeni kameramı denemek için buradan daha iyi bir fırsat olamazdı. Bu fotoğrafı çekerken gerçekten iyi iş çıkardığımı düşünüyorum. Ateş ve kömürün üzerinde pişen menemen gerçekten kaynıyormuş gibi görünüyor. Bu fotoğraf hakkında ne düşündüğünüzü belirtmeyi unutmayın, ustalık eseri fotoğraflarımdan bir tanesi düşünüyorum.
Etrafımızda pek çok aile de bizim gibi piknik yapmaya gelmişti. Bu çevrede gidilebilecek daha iyi bir yer olmadığı için insanlar hafta sonunu burada geçirmeyi tercih ediyor. Burası doğayla iç içe bir hafta sonu için harika. Sessiz ve sakin olduğunu söyleyemem ama en azından sizi rahatsız eden araba sesleri yok.
Kahvaltı yaptıktan sonra buraya Zeyve Pazarı denmesinin nedeni olan pazarı gezmeye çıktım. Hava çok sıcak olmasına rağmen orası da oldukça kalabalıktı, insanların satın alması için pek çok şey var. Örneğin fotoğrafta haşlanmış ve közde mısır satan birini görebilirsiniz.
Sac ve ızgara gibi pişirme aletleri satan yerler de var. Buraya pek çok insan eti kendisi getirip pişiriyor, bazıları ızgarasını unutursa diye bu tarz satıcılar var. Bence çok mantıklı ve oldukça iyi satış yaptıklarına eminim. Herkes ızgarasını yanında taşımıyor sonuçta.
Satıcılar kamyonlara bu şekilde sebze, meyve yükleyip satıyorlar. Karpuz, salatalık, domates, patates, soğan, biber kısaca mangalın yanında yenebilecek her şey burada var. Biz bunların hepsini zaten evden getirmiştik bu yüzden satın almadık ama satın alan pek çok kişiyi gördüm.
Yukarıdan aşağıya pazara bir bakış. Yerel kıyafet satan yerlerden ayakkabı satan yerlere pek çok şeyi görebilirsiniz. İnsanlar alışverişin tadını çıkarıyor. Fotoğrafımı güzelleştiren ağaçlar insanları sıcaktan bir nebze olsun koruyor.
Ne kadar kalabalık olduğunu araba çokluğundan da anlayabilirsiniz. Bazı şanslı insanlar arabalarını gölge yerlere park etmeyi başarmış ve biz de onlardan biriyiz, güneşte bekleyen arabaların içinin ne kadar sıcak olduğunu tahmin bile edemiyorum.
Bu eski kırmızı araba çok dikkatimi çekti. Kaç yıllık bir araba olduğunu bilmiyorum ama çok eski ve bakımsız görünüyor. Bazı insanlar arabalarına hiç değer vermiyor. Türkiye'de biz bu çok kirli arabaları gördüğümüzde espri olarak arkasına beni yıka yazarız 😂😂 Eğer bu arabanın sahibini tanıyor olsaydım aynısını bu arabaya da yazardım çünkü birkaç yıldır yıkanmamış gibi görünüyor.
İnsanların köyde ekmek ve yemek yaparken kullandığı aletlerin hepsi burada satılıyor. Hemen yan tarafında da ahşaptan yapılmış saklama kapları, bir şeyleri ufalamak için aparatlar, merdaneler ve daha birçok şeyi görebilirsiniz. Alışveriş yapan insanların yüzü gülüyor. Kadını gördüğüm zaman ben de gülümsedim. Mutluluk bulaşıcıdır 😂.
Pazarda kıyafetler ve kumaşlar da bu şekilde satılıyor. İnsanlar görüyor, dokunuyor, beğeniyor ve alıyorlar. Süper hijyenik olduğunu söyleyemem ama bu benim sorunum değil. Benim annem pazardan bir şey aldığı zaman birkaç kere yıkamadan kullanmıyor. Pazarda satılan şeyler bunlardan ibaret değil daha pek çok şey var ama benim fotoğrafını çektiklerim bu kadar.
Son olarak sizinle orada çektiğim birkaç güzel fotoğrafı paylaşacağım. Doğayla geçirdiğim gün için gerçekten çok mutluyum. Paha biçilemez bir deneyimdi. Böyle yerlerde sevdiğiniz insanlarla olduğunuz zaman dertlerinizden arınıyorsunuz. @ezgicop benimle olmasa da ruhlarımız her zaman birlikte.
Neredeyse kuzenimle çektiğimiz bu harika kısa videoyu unutuyordum. Suyun altına kendim girmesem bile korkarak kuzenimin telefonunu soktuk.
