First of all, I would like to thank dear @damla and @sudefteri for their great contributions to the formation of such a new community. 🙏 It is a source of pride for me to share my first article with you here. Öncelikle böyle yeni bir topluluğun oluşumun da büyük katkıları olan sevgili @damla ve @sudefteri ne çok teşekkür ediyorum. 🙏 Burada ilk yazımı sizlerle birlikte paylaşıyor olmak da benim için bir gurur kaynağıdır. Burada bulunan herkese kucak dolusu sevgilerimi gönderiyorum. 🤗 Bu topluluğumuz, hive platformunda yazmaya yeni başlayan ya da devam tüm yazarlara da yeni bir umut ışığı olacağına eminim.

Sometimes, our mobile phones receive warning messages from AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) and the municipalities of the region we live in. They keep us informed about the weather conditions. We also take some precautions before we leave the house, or we don't leave the house.😄 Although some of these predictions are accurate, some of them may be wrong.

Bazen cep telefonlarımıza, AFAD ( Afet ve Acil Durum Yönetim Başkanlığı ) ve yaşamış olduğumuz bölgenin belediyelerinden uyarı mesajları gelir. Hava koşullarının durumu hakkında bizi bilgilendirirler. Biz de evden çıkmadan önce bazı tedbirler alırız, ya da evden çıkmayız.😄 Bu yapılan tahminlerin bazıları tutuyor olsa da, bazılarında yanılma payları da olabiliyor.

How do they make weather forecasts scientifically? Although I do not know the answer to this question exactly, we can say that winds and clouds affect the course of the weather. Let's say we are in the middle of winter. At the moment, Turkey is already experiencing the winter season. The cold wind, which comes in quickly through the window we opened to see the flaky snow outside, slaps our faces first. Then he sets his eyes on our cozy room and settles in. We can feel this movement of the wind that carries clean air to our room.

Hava tahminlerini bilimsel olarak nasıl yapıyorlar? Bu sorunun cevabını tam olarak bilemesem de, rüzgarların ve bulutların havanın gidişatını etkilediğini söyleyebiliriz. Kışın ortasında olduğumuzu düşünelim. Şu anda zaten Türkiye de kış mevsimi yaşanıyor. Dışarıda lapa lapa yağan karı görmek için açtığımız pencereden içeri hızlıca giren soğuk rüzgar, önce yüzümüzü tokatlıyor. Ardından sıcacık odamıza göz koyuyor ve yerleşiyor. Temiz bir havayı odamıza taşıyan rüzgarın bu hareketini içimizde hissedebiliyoruz.

Let's talk about the moments when we love the wind very much. Remember when we were overwhelmed by the scorching heat during the sun's hottest times. We seek the wind that keeps us cold in winter with candles in summer. Sometimes, while we are sunbathing under an umbrella on the beach, we witness that it cools our body by passing by softly. At that moment, we have some fun and say how nice it was, and breathe the fresh air.

Rüzgarı çok sevdiğimiz anlardan da bahsedelim. Güneşin en sıcak dönemlerinde kavurucu sıcaklardan bunaldığımız zamanları hatırlayın. Kışın bizi üşüten rüzgarı yazın mumla arıyoruz. Bazen sahil kenarında şemsiyenin altında güneşlenirken usulca yanımızdan geçerek bedenimizi serinlettiğine şahit oluyoruz. Before going out, what will the weather be like today, will it rain? How should I dress today? We ask these questions to ourselves or others in our daily lives. When we look at the sky, we make weather forecasts by looking at the colors of the clouds and the direction they are moving. On a sunny day, we can also predict that the rain will come, hiding behind the dark clouds that surround the sky. Or, in cloudy weather, the disappearing sun suddenly showing its face from the skirts of the high mountains that it loves so much indicates that the weather will get a little warmer. There are moments when our sleep is interrupted at night, when we go out on the balcony and look at the sky, those brightly shining stars explain everything to us. I look at them as the codes of the sun.

Dışarı çıkmadan önce, hava bugün nasıl olacak, yağmur yağacak mı? Bugün nasıl giyinsem? Bu soruları gündelik hayatımızda kendimize ya da başkalarına soruyoruz. Gökyüzüne baktığımızda bulutların renklerine ve hangi yöne doğru ilerlediklerine bakılarak kendimizce hava tahminlerinde bulunuyoruz. Güneşli bir günde bir anda gökyüzünü saran kara bulutların arkasına saklanan yağmurun geleceğini de tahmin edebiliyoruz. Ya da bulutlu bir havada, kaybolan güneşin bir anda, o çok sevdiği yüksek dağlarının eteklerinden yüzünü göstermesi de havanın biraz ısınacağına işarettir. Bazı anlar oluyor, geceleyin uykumuz bölündüğünde, balkona çıkıp gökyüzüne baktığımızda, ışıl ışıl parlayan o yıldızlar, bize her şeyi açıklıyor. Ben onlara güneşin şifreleri gözüyle bakıyorum.

It is not uncommon for us to predict weather conditions based on some events from the past, without relying on scientific methods. Although my grandmother did not read, she has a self-improving and constantly researching personality. I can say I learned a lot from him. He always told me that when he was working in the field, before the rain started, the mice in the field came out of their nests. My grandmother also used to say that the sun showed itself after the cow she looked after in the village licked a flat wall.

Bilimsel yöntemlere dayanmadan, kendimizde geçmişten süregelen bazı olaylara dayanarak tahmin ettiğimiz hava durumları da olmuyor değil. Benim babaannem, okumamış olmasına rağmen, kendini geliştiren ve sürekli araştıran bir kişiliğe sahiptir. Ondan çok şey öğrendim diyebilirim. Bana her zaman tarlada çalışırken, yağmur başlamadan önce, tarlada bulunan farelerin yuvalarından çıktığından bahsederdi. Babaannem, köyde baktığı ineğinin, düz bir duvarı yalamasının ardından güneşin kendisini gösterdiğini de söylerdi.

Most of us make plans and act according to the weather. Even the weather affects our mood. Our body is changing. Our clothes are changing. We feel better on a sunny bright beautiful day. However, when the weather is cloudy and cold, we find ourselves restless, nervous, and withdrawn.

Çoğumuz havanın durumuna göre planlar yapıp, hareket ediyoruz. Hatta havanın durumu bizim ruh halimizi bile etkiliyor. Bedenimiz değişiyor. Kıyafetlerimiz değişiyor. Güneşli aydınlık güzel bir günde kendimizi daha iyi hissediyoruz. Fakat, havanın kapalı ve soğuk olduğu durumlarda, kendimizi huzursuz, gergin ve içimize kapanık oluyoruz.
