Always worried about snakes man, we have some deadly ones as you know. The problem is when I'm laying prone, quiet and still. I've not had any issues so far though, not at this property anyway.
Haha, it's incredible how annoying something as small as a dog barking or bird calling out can be when one is trying to sleep. Good luck, and if you really need, I have a shotgun you can borrow.
