Today's trail could be called the 'four peaks trail'. We parked the car in a large parking lot at the foot of the Sorica ski resort. Since there was no snow, the ski resort was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful new hotel Lajnar and Brunarica hut. Then we went past the decaying Litostrojska hut and started our hike towards the first peak - Možic. We were impressed by the wonderful views. Julian Alps, Karavanke, Kamniško Savinjske Alps, and Škofjeloško hills in the palm of your hand, and if the visibility would allow, you could even see the Adriatic Sea. On the way, we also saw many concrete bunkers from the Second World War. They were very well preserved and if the walls could talk, they would tell many interesting stories. From Možic we headed towards Slatnik, which is not such a prominent hill. The third hill is located at the top of the ski resort and is called Lajnar. A large wooden log was placed upright on this hill, where many holes were drilled. Each hole pointed to a specific neighboring peak or place if you looked through it. A very simple and effective invention that we have not seen before. We ended the hike by conquering the fourth peak, Dravh. The trail was easy, just perfect for the first hike of the new year. The trail is diverse and very scenic, which is perfect for families with small children.
