- It turns out, you were using mini-versions of the Trending & Latest buttons.
And it's the mini-versions that were not working, that's why I got confused, since on all of my devices, it WAS working.

It's fixed on next.d.buzz v3.11 ish, but not on d.buzz 3.9
I guess it's best if i stick to next version.
Using ecency for replying most of time now. Looking forward to notifications fix
