Hi @blocktrades,
thank you very much for all the work you and the other witnesses are doing!
I have learned that it was not easy for you to prepare the HF24, since you had to do everything very quickly at the time of the split and could not prepare yourself.
So I understand that it is taking quite a long time for the HF24 to come.
As you know, 31 users did not receive the airdrop due to a technical error.
I am one of these 31 and I have a question for you.
First of all I would like to say that I do not want to appear ungrateful or demanding in any way, because I am very happy and grateful that I will receive the airdrop at all.
Until the HF24 will come, it will be about 6 months that the 31 users have been working without the stack from the airdrop. It is just an inequality to the other users who did not have to bear the misfortune with the technical error. I don't know if you and your witness colleagues have ever talked about this.
What do you think about the following thought?
You could look up how much SP the 31 users had always earned in 1, 2 or 3 months before the split. You could calculate the average of that for 6 months. You could add this result to the snapshot amount that was saved for the airdrop at that time.
Just in case you take a look at my wallet: I will have earned about 7,500 HP up to HF24 with delegations I received from very friendly users. But after the airdrop I want to give this HP to the friendly users from whom I received the delegations.
I would be very happy to hear from you what you think of my proposal.
I wish you and your witness colleagues that you don't have to work so much with the HF24 anymore!
Best regards, @double-u
First, my condolences for the trouble you had receiving the airdrop. I'm assuming you were one of the accounts that were originally excluded due to an error in the script that was used to detect votes for the Justin Sun sockpuppets.
As far as your proposal goes, you can always make a worker proposal for additional compensation, if you think there's a chance it will be funded. But I'm afraid many people suffered as a result of Justin Sun's attack on Steem, and lost substantial funds in one way or another as a result. Many people had their Steem confiscated, many had their steemhunt tokens confiscated, and their posts hidden. There were suggestions floated to compensate people for their losses, but ultimately I think people just decided to move on. So my suspicion is that making such a proposal probably won't work, but I could certainly be wrong.
Thank you very much for your answer!
Yes, I was excluded by the error in the script.
Oh I am so glad when that issue will be fixed and I finally have my coins too.
For sure a little compensation would be awesome.
