Hello everyone! 👋
You probably already know that we love experimenting and constantly improving things on PeakD, and today we’re excited to share two updates that make creating with AI smoother, easier, and a bit more fun for everyone.
🗂️ Long term storage for your generated media
We added a new system that safely keeps your generated media available over time.
In simple terms: PeakD now saves your creations directly inside your browser, so you can close the tab, shut down your computer, or come back days later and everything will still be there waiting for you.
No need for a rush to download, no worry about losing something you liked. Just create, come back, and keep going. There is a cap so you'll still want to remove images specially if you create a lot however there is a very easy to use remove button on the images.
*NOTE: Right now there is a 50MB limit. (We will revisit this number based on user input) You'll want to download and remove generations as it fills up. *

This makes experimenting much more relaxed and gives you freedom to explore different styles, prompts, and ideas at your own pace.
🎬 A new video generation section
Until now you could generate only images.
We have now added a new section dedicated to generating videos.
Right now it's just one model, but it is beginning and we are looking forward to adding more options soon.

If you have ever wanted to see your prompts come to life with motion, you can now try it directly inside PeakD.
A reminder for those who never tried PeakD AI
Many users still don’t know there is a full AI generation feature inside PeakD.
You can generate images and now videos directly on the platform.
Some of the models are even free to use.

If you have not tried it yet, this is a good moment to experiment and see what you can create.
ALL UPDATES
there were several other updates and features included in this newest PeakD.com update

Thank you
We appreciate all the feedback and support.
We will continue improving the tools, adding more models, and making the creative process easier.
Feel free to share your creations or suggestions in the comments.
These updates sound amazing!
I've used AI video already, but it wasn't good. In one video proportions of object and person were wrong, in other the woman had 4 hands in another video people were showing from nowhere. So for now I can see a lot of mistakes in short videos like this so in the end are useless if I would like to use them.
Another thing - it would be good to have an option to check if my prompt is "legal" as apparently I used some forbidden words (no idea which one) in pretty neutral scene, so I lost HBD and video hasn't generated.
there are some pretty varied quality responses with the model that is provided right now. Some of the leading models out there are substantially more expensive.
There are some things this model does pretty well
I would rather see people use their own images, but I guess it's an option. We should not let 'AI' stuff take over. For now it's fairly easy to spot, but it keeps improving.
Generally speaking I would like "quality" stuff to take over.
I don't care if someone used AI or not, as long as it is properly disclosed and the content quality if good.
In this specific case we are enabling videos. That is of course a completely different league.
It's not like I can personally create a video on my own. So my choice are:
Personally I see more value in allowing people to use option n. 2 as the alternative is simply not doing it at all.
The same can easily be extended to images. I'm not an artist, so AI images simply allow me to do things I would not be able to do otherwise.
I don't object to using it for having some sort of image rather than nothing, but there has to be something of real value in the post. Video is a different matter, but then it may be possible to generate videos that present information in a now engaging way. I've not played with that yet. I have seen someone create animations of his hand drawn comics, but that is done as secondary content.
I'm sure there will be further debates about what content has value, as are happening elsewhere online. The best policy is to be honest about how it was created. I'm old school and may mostly stick to traditional methods, but I know attitudes are changing.
Cheers.
Actually we have something in our dev pipeline to tackle this point.
I already tried the peakD AI here inside but I didn't use it because my post might be plagiarized?
I will try it
Thank you
Damn, I have to use this AI feature... Haven't tried it so far.
