Context
I have been involved (voluntarily) with the development of the Condenser & Wallet apps (that are powering https://hive.blog and https://wallet.hive.blog) for quite a while now. There are other great frontends to Hive out there such as https://peakd.com and https://ecency.com but I have always been more or less faithful with the Condenser.
This is a regular report on my new contributions. Some of the new work below might still be in test and not yet deployed.
Notes: some features or bug fixes might not yet be available as they need to pass review and test by the team.
Hive Authentication Services
Hive Authentication Services (Hive Auth for short) integration to the Condenser is finally complete. Hive Auth is @arcange's project, it allows Hive users to login to frontends supporting the service without giving them their private keys and without installing a browser extension. Hive users are still required to install a wallet app supporting Hive Auth on a mobile phone, for example @stoodkev's Hive Keychain. Hive Auth serves as a communication bridge between the frontend/app and the wallet app (aka Private Key Storage App or PKSA).
This is mostly useful if you are travelling and wants to access your Hive frontend from an internet cafe and don't trust the public computer.

Condenser bug fixes
- The wallet link in the user header menu should link to their wallet URL
- Support night mode for comment pagination links
- Login modal keep showing up when reloading page
Wallet bug fixes
- Display RC level around user avatar
- Witness vote expiry warning banner
- Do not display witness vote warning banner when logged out

Any advice on how to open a new Hive account? I told a friend about Hive but when he tried to open an account for free, as I did 3 years ago on Hive, the page said there were no accounts available. How are we supposed to onboard new members with such a feeble system? Thanks.
