@wendyth16, nos habla acerca del hábito de la lectura acá en esta publicación y comparto todos y cada uno de los aspectos por los cuales ella considera que leer es beneficioso.
En su post ella nos hace las siguientes preguntas:
¿Te gusta leer y qué tipo de lectura? ¿A qué hora y donde lees ? ¿Crees que la lectura es una cuestión de práctica?
Responderé a las preguntas a través de esta publicación.
Leo y vivo, si no leo, no vivo:
Tenía 6 años cuando descubrí que ya sabía leer. Si, lo descubrí. Quién sabe desde cuando leía, pero fue con un pequeño libro de lecciones para aprender a leer, que me di cuenta de que ya leía. Era una de las últimas páginas del libro y el título de esa hoja decía; "Ya sé leer, mi mamá se alegra y papá también" y luego tenía una especie de poema para celebrar que ya el niño que estuviera leyendo, pues leía. Yo me emocioné muchísimo y corría por la casa gritando "Ya sé leer" "¡Mamá, mira aquí dice que ya sé leer!"
Mi mamá también es amante del buen leer y en su infinito amor me regaló el mejor de los hábitos, el hábito de la lectura. Me dotó con diferentes libros de cuentos, poesías, canciones y más. Fueron mis compañeros en las tardes y me llenaron de maravillosas historias, dejándome siempre con ganas de saber más, de conocer, de viajar a través de ellos y de seguir disfrutando de su gran compañía.
1era pregunta:
¿Te gusta leer y qué tipo de lectura?
No tengo problema de leer sobre cualquier tema, puesto que me gusta investigar y aprender. Por ejemplo, cuando algún caso de salud nos aqueja, no dudo en investigar y leer todo lo que se refiera a ese caso en cuestión. O por ejemplo leer sobre los beneficios que los diferentes alimentos nos aportan. También leo sobre historias científicas o geográficamente interesantes que hayan marcado al ser humano. Leo sobre la vida de famosos, sobre ciudades o países, lo que en determinado momento me de curiosidad, lo busco y lo leo.
Sin embargo, para mi placer y entretenimiento, me paso los días leyendo narrativas históricas en obras literarias o novelas. Me gusta mucho leer novelas en las que el escritor haya realizado algún trabajo de investigación histórica o contemporánea y nos cuente curiosidades de alguna ciudad, país o cultura.
Un ejemplo del tipo de narrativa que me gusta son las novelas de Kent Follet, como, Los pilares de la tierra, Un mundo sin fin, El invierno del mundo y paren ustedes de contar.
Además de las obras de Kent Follet también disfruto de las novelas de Isabel Allende, una de las primeras escritoras que cautivó mi sentido lector. ¡Y qué decir de Saramago que no sean maravillas! o Emily Bronte, Diana Gabaldon, Chris Stewart y muchos, muchos más.
No me detengo solamente en narrativa literaria, sino que también me aventuro en el mundo de los diferentes géneros literarios como de aventuras, fantasía y erótica, últimamente he leído varias creaciones de una autora española llamada Noelia Amarillo quien tiene la habilidad de mezclar lo erótico con aventuras, tragedias, y dramas que atrapan desde el primer capítulo. De ella ya he leído varias sagas. Si eres de mente abierta y no te escandalizas al leer sexo puro y directo, te recomiendo los libros de esta autora.
2da pregunta:
¿A qué hora y donde lees?
Leo a todas horas. Aprendí a hacerme turnos para cocinar y leer a la misma vez ja,ja,ja. Trabajo en la venta de hamburguesas y cuando las cosas están relativamente tranquilas en el negocio, me siento a leer un rato. Leo si estoy en alguna cola, leo en las tardes a la hora del reposo, leo todas las noches antes de dormirme y muchas veces me agarra la madrugada atrapada en la lectura. Leo a todas horas, lo repito. La verdad es que no tengo un horario fijo para leer.
3ra pregunta:
¿Crees que la lectura es una cuestión de práctica?
Quizás si, realmente no sabría explicar por qué hay quienes leemos con tanto gusto que hasta se nos convierte en una necesidad, y por qué hay quienes no pueden concentrarse en ningún tipo de lectura o simplemente lo hacen por alguna obligación y luego lo abandonan. En mi trabajo como docente intenté enamorar a muchos estudiantes hacia el mundo de la lectura. Les proporcioné libros, les sugerí atractivos temas y de 10 que abordaba solo 2 o 3 se entusiasmaban y de esos solo uno resultaba irremediablemente enamorado del hábito de leer. Pero aunque solo lograra que uno nada más se apasionara por la lectura, ese logro me enorgullecía inmensamente.
Mi hija mayor tiene casi 11 años y desde pequeña le he leído cuentos y le hablo de lo maravilloso que es leer, de las infinitas aventuras que se pueden vivir a través de un buen libro, y quizás sea por el simple hecho de verme tan embelesada leyendo, que mi hija ha buscado ella sola libros para leer y me entusiasma y enorgullece contarles que es una más del mundo de los enamorados por la lectura. Mi niña disfruta leyendo, es más, se lleva libros en su morral escolar, para poder leer en sus tiempos libres. Me contó que al principio era la rara del salón porque mientras los demás jugaban y correteaban ella leía, ahora varios se han entusiasmado a leer y ya son varios las niñas y los niños que leen en el salón, mientras los demás juegan. Eso es un gran logro y lo hizo mi niña.
De todas las invenciones y descubrimientos que ha hecho el ser humano, la escritura y por ende la lectura han sido lo más fabuloso del mundo mundial. Admiro profundamente la creatividad que tienen los escritores para transmitirnos a través de sus escritos todas esas grandes aventuras, sensaciones, emociones y más, es realmente maravilloso y agradezco a Dios que puedo leer y por supuesto disfrutar de ello.

So I'm very excited to join you in sharing about reading, its benefits and how much it fills my life.
@wendyth16, talks about the habit of reading here in this post and I share each and every one of the aspects why she considers reading to be beneficial.

I will answer the questions through this post.
I read and I live, if I don't read, I don't live:
I was 6 years old when I discovered that I could already read. Yes, I discovered it. Who knows how long I had been reading, but it was with a little book of lessons to learn to read, that I realized that I already read. It was one of the last pages of the book and the title of that page said: "I already know how to read, my mom is happy and my dad is happy too" and then it had a kind of poem to celebrate that the child who was reading, was already reading. I got very excited and ran around the house shouting "I can read" "Mom, look it says here that I can read!"
My mom is also a lover of good reading and in her infinite love she gave me the best of habits, the habit of reading. She gifted me with different books of stories, poems, songs and more. They were my companions in the afternoons and filled me with wonderful stories, always leaving me wanting to know more, to know, to travel through them and to continue enjoying their great company.
1st question:
***Do you like to read and what kind of reading?
I have no problem reading about any subject, since I like to research and learn. For example, when some health case ails us, I do not hesitate to investigate and read everything that refers to that case in question. Or for example, I read about the benefits that different foods bring us. I also read about scientific or geographically interesting stories that have marked the human being. I read about the life of famous people, about cities or countries, whatever I am curious about at a certain moment, I look for it and read it.
However, for my pleasure and entertainment, I spend my days reading historical narratives in literary works or novels. I really enjoy reading novels in which the writer has done some historical or contemporary research work and tells us curiosities about a city, country or culture.
An example of the type of narrative I like are the novels of Kent Follet, such as, The Pillars of the Earth, A World Without End, The Winter of the World and stop counting.
In addition to the works of Kent Follet I also enjoy the novels of Isabel Allende, one of the first writers to captivate my reading sense.
I do not stop only in literary narrative, but I also venture into the world of different literary genres such as adventure, fantasy and erotica, lately I have read several creations of a Spanish author named Noelia Amarillo who has the ability to mix the erotic with adventures, tragedies, and dramas that catch you from the first chapter. I have already read several of her sagas. If you are open minded and don't get shocked when you read pure and direct sex, I recommend this author's books.
2nd question:
What time and where do you read?
I read all the time. I learned to take turns cooking and reading at the same time ha,ha,ha. I work in hamburger sales and when things are relatively quiet in the business, I sit and read for a while. I read if I'm in line, I read in the afternoons at rest time, I read every night before going to sleep and many times I get caught up in the early morning reading. I read all the time, I repeat. The truth is that I don't have a fixed reading schedule.
3rd question:
***Do you think that reading is a matter of practice?
Maybe yes, I really can't explain why there are those who read with so much pleasure that it becomes a necessity, and why there are those who can't concentrate on any kind of reading or simply do it for some obligation and then abandon it. In my work as a teacher I tried to make many students fall in love with the world of reading. I provided them with books, suggested attractive topics and out of 10 that I approached only 2 or 3 were enthusiastic and out of those only one was hopelessly in love with the habit of reading. But even if I only managed to get one of them to become passionate about reading, I was immensely proud of that achievement.
My oldest daughter is almost 11 years old and since she was a little girl I have read stories to her and talked to her about how wonderful it is to read, about the infinite adventures that can be lived through a good book, and perhaps it is because of the simple fact of seeing me so enraptured by reading, that my daughter has looked for books to read on her own and I am excited and proud to tell you that she is one more in the world of those in love with reading. My daughter enjoys reading, in fact, she takes books with her in her school bag, so she can read in her free time. She told me that at the beginning she was the odd one out in the classroom because while the others were playing and running around she read, now several have become enthusiastic about reading and there are already several girls and boys who read in the classroom, while the others play. That is a great achievement and my little girl did it.
Of all the inventions and discoveries that human beings have made, writing and therefore reading have been the most fabulous thing in the world. I deeply admire the creativity that writers have to transmit us through their writings all those great adventures, sensations, emotions and more, it is really wonderful and I thank God that I can read and of course enjoy it.
