Life after death is always a mysterious topic. People have been trying to find answers to these questions for ages. Is there anything on the other side of the spectrum? Do we have life after death or it ends with death? What happens after death? Some even lose their sleep looking for proof but it's a mystery and no satisfactory answer is found yet. No one has ever come back to tell us what is on the other side. We all wish we could have a glimpse of the world we will go into after this life. Death just can't be an abrupt end as it appears to be, people find it hard to believe.

There are different arguments on this topic. If you are a religious person then you must have a firm belief that there is life after death. Most religions tell us about life after death and their followers believe in it. In the religious manuscript, there are mentions of resurrection and reincarnation. People believe in punishment of bad deeds in the afterlife so they repent after committing sins believing they will be forgiven in this life and won't be punished after death. And they will be rewarded for good deeds in both worlds. There would be reunions with loved ones you lost to death.
We see people kill and oppress others, do injustice, and get away with it in this life. There must be retribution or punishment to justify everything. The belief in the afterlife and the day of resurrection sums it up as the oppressed will get justice after death and the oppressor will be punished, which seems right.
Sometimes we are given messages through dreams or we get a sign or a hint after our loved one passes away. We all have experienced it at some point in life, strange things happen that we can’t sort out and dismiss it. Things that don't make sense in this life perhaps will in the next life, it would be like an awakening. As mysterious as is the afterlife I believe our existence is mysterious too. What is consciousness? no one knows and no one knows about the matter! We all have different beliefs, we have no choice but to accept what we are given and have no say in where we all will go after death. Our beliefs are just emotionally charged assumptions. We have to embrace the mystery of existence, anything is possible, making our lives so much mysterious, magical, enriching, and interesting.
The conclusion is everyone can choose to believe in what comforts them instead of being miserable until we cease to exist. In fact believing in anything is totally your personal choice. We must make sure as long as we exist we make life meaningful and that whatever we do in life has a good impact on the lives of others around us and become the person who doesn't just die with their physical death but lives after death in the memories of others as a good human being.
