Life always demands consequences. It's not always necessary to take big steps. Sometimes, you can find a lot of success in small things. People often think that to be successful, we have to take a big step every time. But sometimes, small steps or small habits can give us a lot of success. We think that success will only come when we do something big, but I believe that success will come to you when you keep doing something every day, like small steps for big goals and small struggles for big struggles. But the reality is very simple: big changes always start with small habits, and in today's time, this has become the most important thing. If you keep doing small things, like small habits, in life, then you will get everything in life very easily.

Here's a simple example. Let's say you have your final exam in 10 days, and you haven't studied anything. You're thinking of trying to complete the entire syllabus on the last day, which is impossible. But if you study two chapters every day for these 10 days, reading them in the morning and revising them in the evening, you'll see that on the last day you'll only need to do a quick review, and you'll understand everything. That's the difference that small habits make. If you develop the habit of studying for five hours a day, you'll have to study for five hours every day. Even if you only cover certain material in those five hours, you'll understand a lot, and you'll save a lot of time. In the last few days, you'll only need to revise, and you'll really appreciate this when your exam is over. That's why I always say that small habits make a man perfect.
Confidence is very important for our lives, and these small habits boost our confidence because when we do small tasks, a dopamine release occurs in our minds, making us feel like we're achieving or winning something every day. This significantly increases our overall confidence level, and it's true. Even if you do only a little work each day, but do it with complete dedication, and you feel like the task is accomplished, it will boost your confidence. These small wins make our confidence more concrete. The source of confidence is crucial, and small, consistent work is very important for us. If you dedicate even 10 minutes every day to studying or working on something, you'll feel like you're making progress in that area.

Even if you accomplish something small, your mind will register that you've achieved something. From all of this, we understand one thing: our confidence increases, and we develop the belief that "Yes, I can do it!" But everyone thinks that building small habits is very easy. But I believe it's the hardest thing to do because you might do it in the initial days when your motivation is high, but gradually, as the days and weeks pass, your motivation will fade, and that's when many people give up on those habits.
That's why I always say that motivation is temporary, but consistency and discipline are permanent. You should do everything with consistency and discipline, which will help you complete your tasks. There are several steps to building small habits. First, choose a habit and make it super easy. That means convince yourself that you have to do this habit every day and that it's a very easy habit. The third step is to track your habit daily, like writing down everything you've done. Fourth, celebrate your habit, even small wins. So, for example, if you have a goal of studying for 5 hours, after 5 hours, give yourself a treat—a chocolate, chips, or anything. This will make you feel like you've achieved something.

I started something similar when I felt like I was spending too much money and needed to save. So I bought a piggy bank and decided that I would put at least 50 to 100 rupees in it every day. And you won't believe it, but by the end of the month, I had saved at least 5000 rupees. I felt really good about it, and that's when I realized that if you make saving a habit and maintain it consistently, you can achieve a lot. With that 5000 rupees, I bought some really nice things for myself. I spent that 5000 rupees, but I spent it on myself, and you should always spend on yourself. Many people think that you should always save money, and saving money is a good thing. But if you're saving money by depriving yourself of things you want, then in the end, you need to treat yourself.
Lastly, I would say that everyone should adopt small habits because they will be life-changing for you. This will be very difficult for you in the beginning. It was difficult for me too; in the beginning, I used to forget to save money, or I would end up spending it. But what I would do was double the amount the next day to compensate. Similarly, with habits, it might happen that for a day or two you are busy with some work or something comes up that prevents you from completing your habit. But the next day, double your effort to make up for it. This way, your task will be completed, your daily goals will be achieved, and gradually, it will lead you to do great and honest work. Small habits will always lead you towards a new secret to success and achieving your goals. And all the people who are very successful today have this habit: they all write down their small goals and follow them. That's why they are so successful today.
