I've been practicing this song for a few weeks and the start of the Vibes contest gave me the kick in the butt I needed to try to tighten this one up.
The song is called I Will Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab for Cutie
Here is my entry:
I generally don't get overly personal online but while practicing this song the lyrics kept bringing back memories of my grandmother who passed away last year. She suffered from dementia and seeing her go was profoundly difficult but also a relief that she was no longer suffering. Despite how emotionally devastating it was I was blessed to be able to hold her hand in her last moments along with the rest of my family while her soul embarked, so this song is dedicated to my beautiful grandmother <3

Beautiful song, lyrics and your wonderful voice... sorry to hear about your grandmother. Mine went away a long time ago, she had a tumour in her head... and seeing her go was also sad but she is at peace, like yours for sure. She'd be happy to hear from you, I'm sure of that.❤️
