I saw the post and it seems that some people went and spoiled things. We need schemes to encourage more participation, but making it all fair is hard. I did not participate much in Vibes, but I did a load of entries in the original Open Mic (over 100!). I've always tried to support musicians here and we have some great ones doing original music as well as performing around the world. We need to keep some sort of 'vibe' going to make this a welcoming place for musicians. Hive is not perfect, but other platforms can be frustrating and I'm sure some are seeking an alternative.

I have just read about it - what a shame. I probably wouldn't have made this video if I had understood the intricacies. It was so wild to have won 500hbd for placing first, that is unreal (but, real) money. Even the upvotes (for me) were significant. The HIVE price didn't quite move to where we wanted, but hey all good :) you are right, lots more to do here! Do you use any other alternatives to hive? I am so busy, and would love to, but limited time these days
