This song in particular is one of my favorites Because I wrote it when I was in the hospital, and I was in a life or death situation where I had to be rushed into operation and they did 4 surgeries on me within 3 weeks time to stop an infection in my left arm that was traveling quickly towards my heart and the pain was excruciating and unbearable.
During my 3 weeks stay, I had actually been impacted by overhearing an old woman crying and wailing in the lobby near my room because the doctors and nurses had just informed her that her condition was incurable and the inevitable was near....(death). From that day, while I was living in the hospital, I had finished this song and then went door to door in my sector to perform this song to random strangers/patients, and sharing the gift of music and bringing people to smiles and tears, and for some, I was their first visitor since their time and stay in the hospital, some being too far for their families to visit internationally.
This experience put things into perspective for me and I cherish the life I am living now, and I thank God and Jesus Christ for the people He used to save my life from certain death and to see the birth of my third child Symphony.
