Hello I’m Vessy Mink and this is my week 5 submission for Vibes Web 3 Music Competition.
I wrote this song “High Hopes” one late evening when I should have been sleeping…in fact the haunting opening lyric came to me just as I was drifting off to sleep. Needless to say, I had to get up and write this song. I hope you love it.

High hopes that made me sick that made me stone… I travelled far and wide to find the places I could cling too…
A statue never sleeps it’s all alone
It will not be forgotten lives in city centers on its own…and I would run for miles and miles around the palace un-inspired, in the finest dresses of the land…

I have recorded it a few times but have still not found exactly the vibe I want. I will hit the drawing board again and try to get it as I did it here for the contest. There is an amazing artist named Farrah who will create the album Art.
