Les escribo este post mientras escucho un poco del soundtrack de este juego, que la verdad es una de las cosas que más me gustan, pues los géneros/estilos son bastante parecido a la música que me gusta, hoy les comentare mi experiencia en este juego que vendría siendo la segunda parte de “Life is strange” pero con una nueva historia y nuevos personajes, Life is strange es un juego de aventura y de toma de decisiones que me gustó muchísimo en la época en la que lo jugué, aunque ya fue hace mucho tiempo, es uno de esos juegos que nunca puedes superar y es que era la primera vez que probaba un juego con esta dinámica, tomar decisiones y cambiar asi el futuro, tal como la vida misma.

Normalmente suelo hacer mis publicaciones de juegos por partes, esta vez quiero hacer un resumen general, espere a terminar el juego para poder comentarles mi opinión, fue una semana entera jugándolo solo 1 o 2 horas por noche, asi que realmente el juego no fue tan largo. Para empezar esta nueva aventura, conocemos a Alex (alexandra) lo cual me encanto porque es parecido a mi nombre jaja, esta chica comienza su historia en el consultorio de su psicóloga, al parecer Alex, tiene muchas cargas encima, un pasado bastante triste y además de eso un secreto bastante peculiar.

Normally I usually make my gaming post by parts, this time I want to make a general summary, wait until I finish the game to be able to tell you my opinion, it was a whole week playing it only 1 or 2 hours a night, so the game really wasn't that great. length.
To start this new adventure, we meet Alex (alexandra) which I loved because it's similar to my name haha, this girl begins her story in her psychologist's office, apparently Alex, she has many burdens on her, a pretty sad past and in addition to that a rather peculiar secret.

En pocos minutos las escenas cambian y podemos ver que Alex se muda a un pequeño pueblo en Haven Springs Colorado, donde al parecer se conseguiría con su hermano Gabe Chen, el cual tenía años sin ver, desde el momento que Alex llega a este pueblo me enamore del paisaje, la cinemática era increíble, tome algunas fotos mientras disfrutaba de este hermoso lugar. Llegar a este lugar fue básicamente una presentación, no hubo nada realmente interesante, conocí a todos los personajes que harían parte de esta historia, uno de ellos que mas adelante seria importante para la trama o situación que se desarrolla en Have Springs seria Jed lucan, un viejo al que todo el mundo respeta y conoce por ser un héroe, además de ser jefe de Gabe chen y dueño del bar.

In a few minutes the scenes change and we can see that Alex moves to a small town in Haven Springs Colorado, where apparently he would get his brother Gabe Chen, who he had not seen for years, from the moment Alex arrives in this town I fall in love with the landscape, the cinematic was incredible, take some photos while enjoying this beautiful place.
Arriving at this place was basically a presentation, there was nothing really interesting, I met all the characters that would be part of this story, one of them that later would be important for the plot or situation that develops in Have Springs would be Jed lucan, a old man who everyone respects and knows for being a hero, as well as being Gabe chen's boss and owner of the bar.

Durante este primer capitulo conoces muchos personajes y lugares, como la tienda de discos, la floristería y el bar, conocemos al hijastro de mi hermano Gabe que también tendrá un papel importante en esta historia según las opciones que yo elegí, cuando llegue al pueblo tuve que inspeccionar un poco, los carteles que rodeaban toda la ciudad, además de ver mi celular y enterarme de todo lo que pasaba en este pueblo gracias a una red social, asi entendí que en este pueblo existe una compañía llamada Python la cual hace explosiones de minas en el área, justamente esa noche habría una explosión en las minas. Al conocer al pequeño Ethan (Hijastro de mi hermano Gabe) el niño en alguna parte de la conversación con Alex, menciona que ira esta misma noche a la mina a explorar, me pidió guardar el secreto pero sabiendo el peligro que corría decidí decirle a mi hermano lo que este niño estaba planeando, es aquí donde no se si callar el secreto hubiese cambiado algo o lo que se venia simplemente no se podía evitar.

When meeting little Ethan (stepson of my brother Gabe) the boy in some part of the conversation with Alex, mentions that he will go to the mine tonight to explore, he asked me to keep the secret but knowing the danger he was running I decided to tell my brother what this child was planning, is here where I don't know if keeping the secret to myself would have changed something or what was coming simply couldn't be avoided.

Básicamente a partir de ahora mi hermano se encarga de este niño y mientras tanto yo me voy relacionando con mi nuevo hogar, durante el juego tomamos decisiones que algunas parecen innecesarias, pero como ya sabemos todo influye en el juego, como el efecto mariposa. En una de las escenas que también tienen importancia para el futuro, vemos a Alex y Gabe disfrutando en su nuevo hogar, escuchando música y bailando, de repente alguien toca la puerta se trata de este chico llamado MAC novio de la hija de la dueña de la floristería, Riley, mac entra a golpear a mi hermano y es aquí donde descubrimos por primera vez lo que pasa con Alex, alrededor de Mac brilla una especie de aura roja, la cual significa que esta extremadamente molesto, entonces Alex siente todo esa energía de Mac en su ser, llegando al punto de perder el control, Alex tiene un don, un don en el que puede sentir las emociones fuertes de las personas que la rodean y reflejarla en si misma, llegando al punto donde no puede manejarlo mas y explota y asi fue, Alex, se abalanza encima de Mac y lo golpea para que le sangran los puños, solo para alejarlo de su hermano Gabe, en este intento de que su hermana se tranquilice Gabe termina recibiendo un puño en el rostro jajaja, aquí se puso incomoda la situación y al final quedo sola en mi nuevo apartamento.

In one of the scenes that are also important for the future, we see Alex and Gabe enjoying their new home, listening to music and dancing, suddenly someone knocks on the door, it's this boy named MAC, boyfriend of the owner's daughter. the flower shop, riley, mac comes in to beat up my brother and this is where we first find out what's going on with alex, a kind of red aura shines around mac, which means he's extremely upset, so alex feels all that energy of Mac in her being, reaching the point of losing control, Alex has a gift, a gift in which she can feel the strong emotions of the people around her and reflect it in herself, reaching the point where she can not handle it anymore and it explodes and that's how it was, Alex, pounces on top of Mac and hits him so that his fists bleed, just to get him away from his brother Gabe, in this attempt for his sister to calm down Gabe ends up receiving a fist in the face hahaha, here we got a uncomfortable situation and in the end, I am alone in my new apartment.

Luego de la pelea, trabaje un rato de camarera para Jed, pude hablar con algunos clientes entre ellos estaría una trabajadora de Phyton, luego hable con Riley sobre Mac y le conté todo lo que paso, eso provoco que Riley rompiera con Mac. Esto fue parte del capítulo 1, donde si exploramos mucho conseguimos muchas pistas e información de interés, en este capítulo también conocemos a Steph y Ryan quienes serán más adelante nuestro interés amoroso según lo elijamos, Steph es muy parecida a una de las chicas de la primera entrega de Life is strange, solo que con el cabello marrón xD, Para no hacer todo tan largo sigamos a los otros capítulos, aquí algunas de las cosas que hice en la primera parte, las decisiones que tomé, aun no se el resultado sobre como seria todo si hubiese tomado otras decisiones, pero quizás pronto me anime a hacerlo.

After the fight, I worked as a waitress for Jed, I was able to talk to some clients, among them there would be a Python worker, then I talked to Riley about Mac and told him everything that happened, that caused Riley to break up with Mac.
This was part of chapter 1, where if we explore a lot we get many clues and information of interest, in this chapter we also meet Steph and Ryan who will later be our love interest as we choose, Steph is very similar to one of the girls in the first installment of Life is strange, only with brown hair xD,
In order not to make everything so long, let's continue to the other chapters, here are some of the things I did in the first part, the decisions I made, I still don't know the result of how everything would be if I had made other decisions, but perhaps soon I will be encouraged to do it.

A partir de ahora todo se vuelve gris y es que no se si tome malas decisiones pero terminamos en la noche en una de las minas buscando al pequeño Ethan, en este lugar estaba Alex, Gabe y Ryan, tuve que usar los comics de Ethan para averiguar en que parte se encontraba hasta que lo conseguimos en un acantilado que solo tenia UN PALO PARA CRUZAR, ósea no se a quien se le ocurre pero bueno, en esta parte yo estaba muy estresada por tener que salvar a este niño, Alex uso su don para saber las palabras exactas que decirle a Ethan para cruzar de regreso, finalmente el niño estaba a salvo, pero una explosión que supuestamente no iba a pasar porque anteriormente Gabe había llamado a la empresa para evitar la explosión, ocurrió. La explosión ocurrió y aquí es donde mi hermano muere, en este punto me moleste porque sentí que fue mi culpa jajaja, aunque no es correcto creo que hubiese preferido sacrificar a ese niño. Gabe muere y aquí es donde todo empieza, el funeral, el rechazo del pueblo hacia Mac porque el fue quien atendió la llamada de emergencia de Gabe y aun así no evito la explosión, a partir de este punto todo se vuelve un poco aburrido, realmente esperaba mas acción, pero la historia seguía lenta. Asistí a un evento de LARP, que realmente se puso interesante cuando comenzamos a ver todo desde la imaginación de Ethan.

From now on everything turns gray and I don't know if I made bad decisions but we ended up at night in one of the mines looking for little Ethan, in this place was Alex, Gabe and Ryan, I had to use Ethan's comics to find out where he was until we found him on a cliff that only had ONE STICK TO CROSS, I mean I don't know who came up with it but well, in this part I was very stressed about having to save this child, Alex used his Don to know the exact words to say to Ethan to cross back, finally the boy was safe, but an explosion that supposedly was not going to happen because Gabe had previously called the company to prevent the explosion, occurred.
The explosion happened and this is where my brother dies, at this point it bothered me because I felt it was my fault hahaha, although it is not correct I think I would have preferred to sacrifice that child.
Gabe dies and this is where it all starts, the funeral, the people's rejection of Mac because he was the one who answered Gabe's emergency call and still didn't prevent the explosion, from this point on everything becomes a bit boring, really I expected more action, but the story was still slow.
I attended a LARP event, which really got interesting when we started seeing everything from Ethan's imagination.

Alex, descubre que Mac no fue el culpable de la explosión que fue Python y desde allí jura que hará justicia, ella junto a sus amigos Steph y Ryan quienes intentan investigar los trapos sucios de Phyton, en este punto comienzan las insinuaciones del juego para escoger a una pareja, entre Steph y Ryan, mientras la novia de mi hermano Gabe vive en un estado de ira constante echando la culpa de lo que paso a todos incluyendo su hijo Ethan, en una de esas escenas Alex se adentra a los sentimientos de esta mujer y ve toda la ira acumulada que lleva dentro, me dieron dos opciones, calmar su ira o simplemente irme, preferí irme y no forzar las cosas. Finalmente llega el día del festival de las flores, aquí es donde Alex debe decidir a quien regalarle una rosa, la cual prácticamente significaba declarar su amor, sinceramente Ryan me caía muy mal y Steph me daba muchas mejores vibras, así que la elegí a ella.

Alex discovers that Mac was not to blame for the explosion that was Python and from there she swears that she will do justice, she along with her friends Steph and Ryan who try to investigate Python's dirty laundry, at this point the insinuations of the game begin to choose to a couple, between Steph and Ryan, while my brother Gabe's girlfriend lives in a state of constant anger blaming everyone including her son Ethan for what happened, in one of those scenes Alex goes into the feelings of this woman and sees all the accumulated anger that she carries inside, they gave me two options, calm her anger or just leave, I preferred to leave and not force things.
Finally the day of the flower festival arrives, this is where Alex must decide who to give a rose to, which practically meant declaring his love, honestly I didn't like Ryan very much and Steph gave me much better vibes, so I chose her.

Luego de una noche increíble, Alex habla con Jed y le cuenta todo el problema con la compañía Phyton en este momento la cara de Jed cambia, le dice a Alex que le mostrara algo y la lleva a las minas, donde después de un rato con una actitud sospechosa le dispara a Alex, haciéndola caer en un vacío, a partir de aquí todo es confuso, Alex aparece en el consultorio de su psicóloga pero esta sola, hay que inspeccionar todos los objetos alrededor y buscar la salida, Alex comienza a ver su pasado a recordar la historia de su familia en compañía de su hermano Gabe, allí podemos entender bien lo que paso con estos chicos cuando era pequeños, la madre de Alex estaba enferma y finalmente murió, su padre era un cobarde, huyo de casa dejándolos solos, ellos terminaron en orfanatos donde pasaron gran parte de su vida, luego de mucho tiempo reviviendo estos recuerdos, alex reacciona y aparece al fondo de esta mina, resulta que la bala solo la rozo y herida ella se levanta e intenta salir de allí, es aquí donde descubre algunos secretos de Jed y Phyton que darían sentido a todo lo que paso esa noche. En este punto nos enteramos que el padre de Alex y Gabe vivió en este pueblo luego de dejarlos, trabajo como minero junto a Jed y un dia Jed dejo morir al señor Chen y otros 7 hombres más en esa mina, saliendo de ese lugar inventaron una historia heroica donde Jed sería el principal héroe de la historia y es por eso que todo el pueblo lo reconocía y respetaba.

After an amazing night, Alex talks to Jed and tells him about the whole problem with the Python company at this moment Jed's face changes, he tells Alex to show him something and takes her to the mines, where after a while with a suspicious attitude shoots Alex, making her fall into a void, from here on everything is confusing, Alex appears at her psychologist's office but she is alone, you have to inspect all the objects around and look for the exit, Alex begins to see his past to remember the history of his family in the company of his brother Gabe, there we can understand well what happened to these boys when he was little, Alex's mother was sick and finally died, his father was a coward, he ran away from home leaving them alone, they ended up in orphanages where they spent a large part of their lives, after a long time reliving these memories, alex reacts and appears at the bottom of this mine, it turns out that the bullet only grazed her and injured her, she gets up and tries to get out of there, and It is here that he discovers some secrets from Jed and Python that would make sense of everything that happened that night.
At this point we find out that Alex and Gabe's father lived in this town after leaving them, he worked as a miner with Jed and one day Jed let Mr. Chen and 7 other men die in that mine, leaving that place they invented a heroic story where Jed would be the main hero of the story and that is why the whole town recognized and respected him.

Cuando Alex logro salir con vida de esa mina fue directamente al Bar a decirle a todo el mundo lo que ocultaban JED y la compañía, algunos le creyeron y otros no, es aquí donde Alex se mete en la mente de Jed y lo hace sentir miserable y culpable. Esta escena fue bastante buena por que hacen un close up a la cara del viejo y se ve bastante perturbado, finalmente Jed admite todo y es llevado a prisión, a partir de ahora solo quedaba tomar un par de decisiones, donde Alex debe decidir si se va del pueblo con steph o se queda con ella allí, Gabe aparece junto a Alex y comienzan a hablar de su futuro y que seria lo mejor para ella, irse o quedarse, decidí irme con Steph a recorrer el mundo lejos de ese pueblo jaja.

When Alex managed to get out of that mine alive, he went directly to the Bar to tell everyone what JED and the company were hiding, some believed him and others did not, this is where Alex gets into Jed's mind and makes him feel miserable. and guilty. This scene was quite good because they do a close up on the old man's face and he looks quite disturbed, finally Jed admits everything and is taken to prison, from now on there was only a couple of decisions to make, where Alex must decide if he Does she go to town with Steph or stays with her there, Gabe appears with Alex and they start talking about her future and what would be best for her, to leave or stay, I decided to go with Steph to travel the world away from that town haha.

Opinion personal / personal opinion

Aunque el juego esta increíble con respecto a gráficos (o al menos mejor que la primera entrega de este juego) la historia es un poco lenta y a veces llega a ser aburrida, también tenemos reacciones un poco… incoherentes, como por ejemplo que todo el mundo este mas triste por la muerte de Gabe que la misma Alex, no lo veo con mucho sentido, ella intenta consolar a todos los que están de luto, cuando debería ser ella la primera en hundirse en la tristeza. No hay demasiada acción, el poder de Alex creo que podría ser un poco más extremo, literalmente vivo calmando la ansiedad de todo el mundo y también explorando absolutamente todo para darle continuidad a una escena, personajes que me cayeron bastante mal y que desearía eliminar.

Las partes buenas puedo rescatar lo que ya mencione, los gráficos, el sountrack, el amor entre Alex y Steph, la historia podría ser excelente solo si hubiese habido mas acción y aventura.

Although the game is amazing in terms of graphics (or at least better than the first installment of this game) the story is a bit slow and can get boring at times, we also have a bit…incoherent reactions, like for example that everyone She is sadder for Gabe's death than Alex herself, I don't see it with much sense, she tries to comfort all those who are in mourning, when she should be the first to sink into sadness.
There isn't too much action, Alex's power I think could be a little more extreme, I literally live calming everyone's anxiety and also exploring absolutely everything to give continuity to a scene, characters that I really didn't like and that I would like to eliminate.
The good parts I can rescue what I already mentioned, the graphics, the soundtrack, the love between Alex and Steph, the story could be excellent only if there had been more action and adventure.

I have to admit that the game looks spectacular, I didn't remember Life is Strange this way. I don't know why Alex's face reminds me of a character from another game, I understand that True Colors is not a DLC but a separate game, right?

I always found the Butterfly Effect interesting, it was thanks to the base game that I came across this term and I've always found it a rather fascinating subject. That the flapping of a butterfly can cause a tornado is something quite... crazy XD.

Hahahaha I also feel that Alex's face reminds me of a character, but I don't know who, I think it's a DLC I'm not sure.
About butterfly effect, it is a really complicated and profound theme, I feel admiration for these things and since I understood its meaning, I relate it to all the decisions I make in my life.

Siempre he sido fanático de las aventuras gráficas, son quizás de mis géneros favoritos y más si son de Square Enix. Este juego en particular me parece demasiado bello, siempre me ha llamado bastante la atención por todo él en sí y como logra llevar el desenlace de toda la historia, me gusta mucho. Recuerdo haber visto algunas cosas en youtube hace años, es uno de los que tengo pendientes, la trama del comienzo por lo que leí me atrapó bastante, le daré una probada a ver que tal :)

Sii, son bastante entretenidos la verdad, además que es interesante ver qué camino va tomando la historia mientras juegas, pruébalo 😀 aunque recomiendo jugar primero "life is strange" y luego este que sería como una nueva historia, la primera es más emocionante!

I see this game and DLCs everywhere and never try to play that. Nevertheless is a game that wakes my curiosity, I had never seen this part of the history of this game, and it remembers me a lot of an incredible movie called: The warmest color is blue. Thanks for sharing this!

I used to pkay this game when I was in college. I think it was my first role playing based games. I couldn't finish it though lolz. The kept crashing after some level. I think an android version is available now but need to pay to unlock chapters.

I think it was the first role-playing game of many people (including me) it was something quite new for me and now that I play this version after so long, it has awakened in me more desire to try these role-playing games
