About a week ago, I spent a couple of hours setting up a new stream on Theta.tv
This stream plays and homage to a viral sensation "Twitch Plays" which took the internet by storm back in 2014.
Just like the original that inspired this channel, we have started with Pokémon Red as our first game.
What is different with this channel is that by playing with your friends or other viewers nearby, you can earn yourself a cryptocurrency called TFuel.
The awesome thing with the Theta Blockchain is that it allows completely decentralised video sharing by creating a peer-to-peer network between all of its nodes. Theta.tv has implemented a browser-based node script so that as you watch and enjoy live streams you also have the potential of earning TFuel.
Now, if you really want to earn a lot of TFuel, your best option is to run a Theta Edge Node and have it running 24/7. The Edge Node also allows you to run your own fully decentralized live stream.
