Here's this Friday list for all those who want to play a new game this weekend. If you have any games you want to recommend, please let me know in the comments below. I'd be more than grateful. And I might even buy it right away and play it here on the blog, so you know what I'm doing.
I usually only recommend a lot of games that have a classic look and that use pixel art as their main way of expressing their graphics, so don't expect any games with realistic graphics here, or any kind of triple-A garbage, because I'm not going to give them to you, and I'm campaigning for video games. Shogun Showdown
Starting with this one, which was a gift from the hive gaming community and has since spent three months on my computer until I was finally able to appreciate it and start playing it the way it deserves because this, my friends, is a roguelike and, like every rowlight, takes its time to reveal all the secrets it may hide.
But in itself, it is a turn-based strategy video game where we play a samurai who has to climb an entire mountain to reach the shogun's palace and defeat him. But as I already told you, this genre of video games leaves Many surprises to discover. And maybe even after finishing the first part of the game we'll find something much deeper than we thought, or at least that's how I feel right now.
I posted a little about it yesterday saying that I started playing it again, but I was up all night Thursday playing it and discovering some of the things it has. And I really think it's a video game that's worth much more than several of the triple A games I find out there that cost more than $60
We Become What We Behold
It's a 5-minute game about the consequences of radicalization and misinformation. It sounds strange, I know, but that's what I read right before downloading and playing one of the most shocking video games I've played this year, especially because of how shocking its gameplay is because it's extremely simple in every game. Its appearance
We simply create a floating camera in a community where we have to take photos of the peculiarities we see along the way. Each of these will have a headline that will influence more people, and I think this way of presenting the game is what makes me recommend it even more.
Each new headline makes the people around us become more and more influenced, to the point of committing certain atrocities. It's a very short experience with little room for improvisation, but I definitely think that being free and only spending 5 Minutes of your time might be quite shocking to play.
The Messenger
An old acquaintance for those who have been following my blog for a while. A few months ago, I was obsessed with completing this game and everything it had to offer. It's basically a subway on steroids, giving you the feeling that you're playing an old video game, but with the humor and references to today's culture. It also has one of the most versatile gameplays I can remember.
This video game is astonishing in every way, from its graphics, which are pixelated, giving it some extra points, to its dynamic gameplay, always innovating with every step we take because it's not enough alone. Not only does it not only allow us to complete the game, but once we've done so, it opens up even more possibilities, and we'll have to travel and discover much more.
Of all of them, I think this is the one I've spent the most time on and the one I most recommend playing because at the time, I also discarded it and put it aside on my PC for a while until I simply got carried away and played it for 5 hours until I completed it and then discovered that there's so much more to it than just what I saw, so now you know.
An extra: balatro
The most popular card game in video games right now and one of last year's GOT candidates. I can only tell you that it's a card game and little else because I think everything about its gameplay is so shocking and convoluted that I might ruin the experience by telling you about it.
It's an extra I'm putting here in case you have some free time and want to delve into the intricacies of a totally new card game, but based on the poker deck and certain rules. From that game, it's left me quite confused and has racked my brains more than once, so I recommend it to you as well.

Vamos con esta lista del viernes para todos aquellos que quieran tener un juego nuevo para jugar este fin de semana, si tienen algún videojuego que quieran recomendar acá abajo en los comentarios Yo estaré más que agradecido Y puede que incluso me lo compre corriendo y lo juegue por acá en el blog así que ya saben
Normalmente solo recomendar muchos juegos que tengan una pinta clásica y que tengan por ejemplo el pixel art como principal forma de expresar sus gráficos por lo que no esperen ningún videojuego con gráficos realistas por acá o no esperen ningún tipo de basura triple a porque no se las voy a dar y estoy haciendo campaña para los videojuegos independientes
Shogun Showdown
Empezando con este que fue un regalo de la comunidad de hive gaming y que desde entonces ha pasado en mi computadora tres meses hasta que por fin lo pude apreciar y empezar a jugar de la forma que se merece porque este amigos míos es un roguelike y como todo rowlight requiere su tiempo para desvelarnos todos los secretos que puede esconder
Pero en si es un videojuego de estrategia por turnos en donde encarnamos a un samurai que tiene que subir toda una montaña hasta llegar al palacio del shogun y vencerlo pero como ya le dije este género de videojuegos deja muchísimas sorpresas por descubrir Y puede que incluso terminando la primera parte del juego nos encontremos con algo muchísimo más profundo de lo que pensábamos o al menos así estoy en este momento
He publicado un poco al respecto ayer diciendo que nuevamente me la empecé a jugar pero es que estuve toda la noche del jueves jugándolo y descubriendo algunas de las cosas que tiene Y de verdad que me parece que es un videojuego que vale la pena muchísimo más que varios de los triple a que me encuentro por ahí que cuestan más de $60
We become what we Behold
Es un juego de 5 minutos sobre las consecuencias de la radicalización y la desinformación, suena extraño lo sé pero eso es lo que leí justo antes de descargarmelo y jugar uno los videojuegos más choqueantes que he jugado este año, sobre todo por lo impactante que es su jugabilidad porque es extremadamente sencilla en todos sus aspecto
Nos limitamos hacer una cámara flotante en una comunidad en la que tenemos que tomar fotos sobre las peculiaridades que vemos pasando por el camino, a cada una de estas tendremos un titular que influenciará a más personas y es creo que esta forma de presentar el juego lo que me hace incluso recomendarlo mucho más
Cada nuevo titular hace que las personas a nuestro alrededor se influencen más y más hasta el punto de llegar a cometer ciertas atrocidades, es una experiencia que es muy corta y que tiene poco para improvisar pero sin duda creo que al ser gratis y al gastar solo 5 minutos de tu tiempo puede que sea bastante shockeante jugarlo
The Messenger
Un viejo conocido para los que hayan estado en mi blog por un tiempo y es que hace algunos meses estuve obsesionado por completar este juego y todo lo que tenía por ofrecer, es básicamente un metro hilvania pero con esteroides y una sensación de que estás jugando algún viejo videojuego pero con el humor y las referencias de lo que tenemos hoy en día en la cultura, además de que tiene una de las jugabilidades más versátiles que puedo recordar
Por todos lados este videojuego asombra, desde sus gráficos que por cierto es de pixelar por lo que tiene algunos puntos extra hasta su jugabilidad tan dinámica y siempre innovando en cada paso que demos porque no basta solo con completar el juego sino que una vez lo hayamos hecho nos abre incluso más las posibilidades y tendremos que viajar y descubrir mucho más
De todos creo que esta es al que le he dedicado más tiempo y el que más recomiendo jugar porque en su tiempo también lo descarte y lo puse aparte en mi PC durante un tiempo hasta que sencillamente me dejé llevar y lo jugué por 5 horas hasta completarlo y después descubrir que hay muchísimo más allá de solo lo que veía así que ya sabes
Un extra: balatro
El juego de cartas más popular que existe en este momento en los videojuegos y uno de los candidatos al goty el año pasado, solo les puedo decir que es un videojuego de cartas y poco más porque pienso que todo lo que alberga su jugabilidad es tan impactante a la vez de entrevesado que puedo arruinarle la experiencia contándoselos
Es un extra qué pongo por acá por si tienen algún tiempo libre y quieren meterse en las complejidades de un juego de cartas totalmente nuevo pero basado en la baraja del poker y en ciertas reglas de ese juego, a mí me ha dejado bastante patas arriba y me ha quebrado la cabeza en más de una vez por lo que se los recomiendo también
