You've got to try it out sometime. The fact that you no longer have to be good at building to have fun in the game is huge to me. I never cared to learn how to build, so Zero Build is perfect for me.
I've finally figured out the ODM gear, it's actually pretty cool but I still prefer the katana. Thunder spears are throwable rockets that also shot you backward. As of now, there are no grenades that reveal enemy locations. There nay have been at some point, but that item is probably vaulted for right now. They swap weapons in and out of the game quite frequently. It's never the exact same game month after month.
Yeah, first time I saw clips of people simultaneously building structures while shooting at each other I was a bit overwhelmed by the spectacle. Almost like there was too much going on. The game looked a lot more manageable from your video and it looks really good visually too. Sharper.
That’s nice that they switch out the gear a lot. Probably stops people from getting too much practice with certain weapons and items. I like how it looks like there’s a lobby period where match-players can just chill before dropped into the map.
It's a much more casual game without the building. Still requires skill to do well, but you don't have to have an engineering degree to build your way to victory.
