That is one way to think about it in a way. I could also ignore the quest and just do whatever I want. I have not played many other might and magic’s to compare it well enough to the rest of them.

Well the ones that I played were more of a turn based strategy, but this that you're playing seems too be somewhat interesting and entertaining in it's own way🤔
One of the things I love about MM6 over some of the other ones I’ve played is I can toggle on or off turn-based time.
Most times if I’m just walking around it’s never needed at all.
There have been a couple of combat situations where I’ll toggle it on. Usually those instances I need to switch out the spells I’m casting. Maybe I’m trying to save mana on my cleric by not having them cast a group heal until it’s needed and I don’t want to mistakenly spam the wrong key when it’s their turn to attack.
