¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo un post épico que decidí hacer por una invitación de un gran amigo conocido como @alejandroaldana de hablar sobre mis franquicias de videojuegos favoritas, pues él hizo un post genial el cuál pueden leer al hacer click aquí y mostró unas buenísimas.
A lo largo de mi vida, me he topado con franquicias muy legendarias y siento que esta es una buena oportunidad para chequear mi pasado y revivir cosas increíbles al hablar sobre este tópico; así que, sin más que agregar, ¡vamos a darle!
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you an epic post that I decided to do because of an invitation from a great friend known as @alejandroaldana to talk about my favorite video game franchises, he did a great post which you can read by click here and he showed some great ones.
Throughout my life, I've come across some very legendary franchises and I feel that this is a good opportunity to check my past and relive some amazing things when talking about this topic; so, without further ado, let's get to it!
3er Lugar | 3rd Place - Shining Soul
Esta es una SÚPER JOYA de los videojuegos; la primera vez que conocí esta franquicia fue jugando en un emulador de Game Boy Advance (como todo niño en los 2000), este juego era una maravilla de los RPG, era bastante sencillo y al mejor estilo de juegos como Diablo, pues la idea era utilizar un pequeño héroe y pelear contra un montón de monstruos del entorno, para eso tenemos una gran variedad de poderes especiales y de diferentes tipos de personaje, algunos de rango, otros de melé, guerreros, bestias, magos, ninjas, hay de todo tipo.
This is a SUPER JEWEL of video games; the first time I met this franchise was playing on an emulator of Game Boy Advance (as every child in the 2000s), this game was a marvel of RPG, it was quite simple and in the best style of games like Diablo, because the idea was to use a small hero and fight against a lot of monsters in the environment, for that we have a variety of special powers and different types of character, some of rank, other melee, warriors, beasts, wizards, ninjas, there are all kinds.
La historia era excelente a pesar de lo simple que era, siempre comenzabas tus aventuras despertando en un pueblo como si fueras un mercenario al que contratan para matar monstruos en los diferentes escenario de juego; cada vez que pasabas una misión, el pueblo cambiaba de alguna manera (como en todo buen RPG).
Ahora, lo mejor del juego es el hecho de jugarlo acompañado, yo me pasé el juego muchas veces con mi hermano menor, utilizando diferentes personajes, la experiencia de juego mejora de forma considerable cuando juegas en multijugador y puedes inclusive jugar hasta con 4 jugadores, es una completa locura.
Lo único terrible es el jefe final de todo el juego, es demasiado sencillo vencerlo, me parece extraño que un jefe definitivo sea más débil que un jefe final de un escenario, debería ser al revés, pero claro, no se le puede exigir tanto a un videojuego tan antigüo ¿no? Así que realmente puedo decir que esta saga de juegos es un gran 9 de 10.
The story was excellent despite how simple it was, you always started your adventures waking up in a town as if you were a mercenary hired to kill monsters in the different game scenarios; every time you passed a mission, the town changed in some way (as in every good RPG).
Now, the best thing about the game is the fact of playing it accompanied, I played the game many times with my younger brother, using different characters, the game experience improves considerably when you play in multiplayer and you can even play with up to 4 players, it's a complete madness.
The only terrible thing is the final boss of the whole game, it's too easy to beat it, I find it strange that a final boss is weaker than a final boss of a stage, it should be the other way around, but of course, you can't demand so much from such an old videogame can you? So I can really say that this game saga is a great 9 out of 10.
2do Lugar | 2nd Place - Monster Hunter
Esta es mi segunda franquicia favorita porque en definitiva, este es uno de los mejores juegos del género RPG de Acción que he jugado en mi vida; la idea de cazar monstruos cada vez más gigantes y tener la posiblidad de hacer armaduras y armas con sus pieles, cuernos, colas, etc es un proceso que se vuelve increíblemente divertido.
This is my second favorite franchise because all in all, this is one of the best games in the Action RPG genre that I have ever played; the idea of hunting increasingly giant monsters and having the possibility of making armor and weapons out of their skins, horns, tails, etc. is a process that becomes incredibly fun.
Nos metemos en la piel de un cazador de recompensas, el cuál vive también en una villa (como en el primer juego mencionado) y tenemos que ayudar a liberar las zonas cercanas al pueblo de la presencia de monstruos gigantes que amenazan el bienestar de las personas de la villa.
La trama es bastante simple, sin embargo, la creatividad que tienen los creadores de este juego (gracias Capcom) para crear monstruos cada vez más injustos y exageradamente enormes es absurda, llega un punto en el que puedes tardar hasta 35 minutos cayéndote a golpes con solo una pata de dicho monstruo porque no puedes alcanzarlo completo.
En mi caso no sucedía porque yo siempre he sido amante de los personajes de rango y acá en Monster Hunter, teníamos la capacidad de utilizar tres tipos de armas de rango: el arco y flecha, un arma bastante excelente en movilidad pero bastante débil en daño, la ballesta ligera, de igual forma excelente en movilidad pero débil en daño, sin embargo tenía unas balas especiales que la volvían interesante y por último la ballesta pesada, que como su nombre lo indica, es tan pesada que no puede moverse con facilidad pero que tiene muchísimo daño.
La variedad de armas me fascina, el estilo de pelea me fascina, las armaduras, los asistentes (los cuales son unos gatos demasiado graciosos con personalidades propias), hasta las misiones de recolección de recursos son buenísimas, todo en este juego es épico y de la franquicia únicamente he podido jugar dos versiones: Freedom Unite y Tri, de resto, me encantaría jugar al Monster Hunter: World a ver qué tal es y el Monster Hunter 4 porque quiero conocer esas nuevas interacciones con el terreno, sin lugar a dudas, esta franquicia es un 10 de 10.
We get into the skin of a bounty hunter, who also lives in a village (as in the first game mentioned) and we have to help free the areas near the village from the presence of giant monsters that threaten the welfare of the people of the village.
The plot is quite simple, however, the creativity that the creators of this game have (thank you Capcom) to create increasingly unfair and exaggeratedly huge monsters is absurd, there comes a point where you can take up to 35 minutes falling to blows with only one leg of said monster because you can not reach it complete.
In my case it didn't happen because I've always been a lover of ranged characters and here in Monster Hunter, we had the ability to use three types of ranged weapons: the bow and arrow, a weapon quite excellent in mobility but quite weak in damage, the light crossbow, similarly excellent in mobility but weak in damage, however it had some special bullets that made it interesting and finally the heavy crossbow, which as its name suggests, is so heavy that it cannot move easily but has a lot of damage.
The variety of weapons fascinates me, the fighting style fascinates me, the armor, the assistants (which are too funny cats with their own personalities), even the resource gathering missions are great, everything in this game is epic and I've only been able to play two versions of the franchise: Freedom Unite and Tri, otherwise, I would love to play Monster Hunter: World to see how it is and Monster Hunter 4 because I want to know those new interactions with the terrain, without a doubt, this franchise is a 10 out of 10.
1er Lugar | 1st Place - Silent Hill
Todo lo que tenga en su nombre las palabras «Silent Hill» para mí es sinónimo de éxito rotundo y lo digo con toda la certeza del mundo porque he pasado casi todos los Silent Hill que existen, he visto la película, he sido parte de la evolución de la franquicia en diferentes formas, estilos y demás y simplemente me considero un fanático empedernido, no puedo evitar jugar algún Silent Hill.
Anything with the words "Silent Hill" in its name for me is synonymous with resounding success and I say that with all the certainty in the world because I've gone through almost every Silent Hill that exist, I've seen the movie, I've been part of the evolution of the franchise in different forms, styles and so on and I simply consider myself a die-hard fan, I can't help but play some Silent Hill.
Comencé a jugar los juegos de esta franquicia a los 12 años, recuerdo que mi hermano menor me acompañaba porque no le gustaba jugarlo él solo, así que me pedía que lo jugara para él verme y ayudarme a pasarlo, él tenía 10 años en ese entonces y los dos jugábamos con un diccionario en las manos porque no sabíamos nada de inglés y el juego venía en ese idioma por defecto.
Lo que más amo de Silent Hill son sus tramas y la capacidad que tienen de jugar con la tensión y con los nervios, además, en cada lanzamiento de la franquicia siempre mejoraron la inmersión de usuario y las interacciones, los acertijos siempre eran épicos y los monstruos te daban malas experiencias.
Tenemos juegos como el Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams en el cuál la trama es sencilla pero larga, luego el Silent Hill 4: The Room donde la trama es corta pero debes pasar el juego dos veces, una en tres escenarios normales y luego debes volver a los mismos escenarios pero sumergido en el mundo infernal, luego el Silent Hill: Shattered Memories donde ahora tienes un smartphone para interactuar con las cosas del entorno pero ahora no peleas contra monstruos sino que huyes de ellos y además durante el juego te van haciendo un test psicológico para empeorar tu experiencia de forma personalizada basada en tus gustos, luego está el Silent Hills el cuál fue cancelado pero se pudo jugar en un Trailer Jugable que duraba 30 minutos en el cuál la tensión y el terror psicológico era tan fuerte que yo no duré más de 15 minutos jugando (y eso fue hace solo unos años).
Siento que no hay absolútamente nada malo en los juegos de Silent Hill, únicamente en el Shattered Memories me molesta no poder dispararle a los monstruos pero de resto, todas las historias, todos los monstruos, los jefes, las tramas, screamers, personajes, finales, etc son simplemente épicos, esta franquicia es de mis favoritas y siento que si pudiera salir un nuevo Silent Hill, ahí estaría yo para pasarlo en su totalidad, simplemente para mí, esta franquicia es un 20 de 10.
I started playing the games of this franchise when I was 12 years old, I remember that my younger brother accompanied me because he did not like to play it alone, so he asked me to play it so he could see me and help me to pass it, he was 10 years old at that time and we both played with a dictionary in our hands because we did not know any English and the game came in that language by default.
What I love most about Silent Hill are its plots and the ability they have to play with tension and nerves, also, in every release of the franchise they always improved the user immersion and interactions, the puzzles were always epic and the monsters gave you bad experiences.
We have games like the Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams in which the plot is simple but long, then the Silent Hill 4: The Room where the plot is short but you must pass the game twice, once in three normal scenarios and then you must return to the same scenarios but immersed in the hellish world, then the Silent Hill: Shattered Memories where you now have a smartphone to interact with things in the environment but now you don't fight monsters but run away from them and also during the game they are giving you a psychological test to worsen your experience in a personalized way based on your tastes, then there is Silent Hills which was cancelled but you could play a Playable Trailer that lasted 30 minutes in which the tension and psychological terror was so strong that I didn't last more than 15 minutes playing (and that was only a few years ago).
I feel that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Silent Hill games, only in Shattered Memories it bothers me not being able to shoot the monsters but otherwise, all the stories, all the monsters, bosses, plots, screamers, characters, endings, etc are simply epic, this franchise is one of my favorites and I feel that if a new Silent Hill could come out, I would be there to play it in its entirety, simply for me, this franchise is a 20 out of 10.
Mención Honorífica | Honorable Mention - Phoenix Wright
Una de las grandes razones por la cuál me gusta el mundo de las leyes es por este videojuego; la franquicia conocida como Phoenix Wright habla sobre un abogado defensor que se enfrenta a unos casos donde las cosas que se ven a simple vista no son lo que parecen y uno debe utilizar un montón de razonamiento a través de investigaciones para poder demostrar la inocencia de clientes que se meten en problemas injustos.
Hay unos casos en este juego que te destruyen la cabeza y te llevan a teorizar hasta con la más mínima casualidad en un diálogo; los «Plot Twists» de este juego son increíblemente bueno, recomiendo demasiado jugarlo.
One of the big reasons why I like the world of law is because of this video game; the franchise known as Phoenix Wright talks about a defense attorney who faces cases where things that are seen at first glance are not what they seem and one must use a lot of reasoning through investigations in order to prove the innocence of clients who get into unjust trouble.
There are some cases in this game that destroy your head and lead you to theorize even with the slightest coincidence in a dialogue; the "Plot Twists" of this game are incredibly good, I highly recommend playing it.
La variedad de personajes son demasiado particulares, tienen personalidades muy marcadas, algunos son increíblemente molestos, otros son demasiado graciosos, hay fiscales contra los que te enfrentas que te hacen trampa en los juicios falsificando pruebas o trayendo testigos que empiezan a decir mentiras por todas partes y debes estar pendiente de sus declaraciones para encontrar contradicciones, debes tener un buen ojo para analizar situaciones y tener muy buena retentiva, ya que hay momentos donde te pondrán a prueba con respecto a todo lo que has hecho durante una hora más o menos mientras se desenvuelve el caso.
Cada historia es muy particular y además de eso, combinas el hecho de ser un abogado con algunos elementos místicos y metafísicos como el uso de médiums para comunicarte con personas del más allá para resolver casos y cosas así bastante locas pero geniales.
Este juego es muy refrescante y te da una satisfacción enorme cuando logras superar las pruebas utilizando el razonamiento, es un excelente ejercicio para el cerebro y desarrolla mucho gusto por el mundo de las leyes, a esta franquicia le doy un rotundo 10 de 10.
The variety of characters are too particular, they have very marked personalities, some are incredibly annoying, others are too funny, there are prosecutors against whom you face that cheat you in trials by falsifying evidence or bringing witnesses who start telling lies everywhere and you must be aware of their statements to find contradictions, you must have a good eye to analyze situations and have very good retentive, as there are moments where you will be tested regarding everything you have done for an hour or so while the case unfolds.
Each story is very unique and on top of that, you combine being a lawyer with some mystical and metaphysical elements like using mediums to communicate with people from beyond the grave to solve cases and things like that that are pretty crazy but cool.
This game is very refreshing and gives you a huge satisfaction when you manage to overcome the tests using reasoning, it is an excellent exercise for the brain and develops a lot of taste for the world of law, I give this franchise a resounding 10 out of 10.

Ahora, hablando del post... No he jugado ninguno de estos juegos jajajajaja, bueno, jugué un poco de un Monster Hunter en el Nintendo Wii pero no me atrapó, además en una de las primeras misiones me mandaron a matar a unos pobres dinosaurios que no molestaban a nadie, por lo que no me gustó el juego jajajajaja.
Con Shining Soul si me agarraste super fuera de base porque de verdad que no idea, pero se escucha genial la premisa del juego, lo añadiré a la lista después de terminar KHIII.
Y Silent Hill pues... Aunque soy un cobarde de primera clase y por eso no he jugado ninguno, reconozco su calidad. A mi me pasó algo parecido a ti, sólo que yo no era el que jugaba sino que ocasionalmente veía a mi tío jugar, lo vi jugar todos los Silent Hill desde el primero hasta The Room y que juegazos! El 3 y el 4 me parecieron particularmente perturbadores jajaja.
Phoenix Wright lo conozco un poco pero nunca fue de mi interés... Hasta ahora, me encantan las historias con plot twists que te vuelen la mente, mientras mas loco el plot twist mas feliz soy! Jajajaja.

Esto esta muy bueno @ilazramusic aunque no conozco los juegos excepto el de Silent Hill, un poco terrorífico para mi gustó por eso no quise ni ver la peli...jajaja

¡Pero qué agradable sorpresa me he llevado acá! ¡Por supuesto que puede hablar sobre sus juegos ochenteros! Sería un placer para mí el leerla echando esos cuentos jajaja me encanta porque muchas personas piensan que ya después de crecer uno no puede jugar videojuegos y más bien esa es la propia edad para hacerlo y mantener el espíritu jóven.
