Stay connected with your squad. Friends are more than just usernames.

I was out walking my dog in the forest a few days ago when I realized that I'm in a place in life right now that feels good but that I still remember fearing as a younger me. Loving gaming and really sinking deep and long hours into the gaming world was a thing I didn't want to give up. But I knew that by the time I have my carrier up and running, a dog, a house, a wife and a child...I wasn't going to have the same amount of time for gaming, naturally... But being where I am today, I'm happy and wouldn't change a thing. I have so many things to be happy about and still find time to game every now and then. I did realize though, how many gaming friends I've had over the years, that slowly faded away... And gathered my thoughts about the importance of finding channels of communication among you squad and staying connected!

Here is a short video and the same content in text :)

"You know, I’ve been thinking about something. If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent hours, hundreds of hours in game lobbies with your squad. Laughing, making plays, and just… vibing. It feels like those moments will last forever, right?

But here’s the thing—life doesn’t always work like that. One day, someone gets busy with school, work, family, whatever it is… and suddenly, their username isn’t popping up in the lobby anymore.

It sucks. But that’s why I’m saying this: don’t let the game lobby be the only place you’re connected. Exchange socials, hop in a group chat, follow each other on other platforms. Keep that line open.

Because one day, life might pull you in different directions. And when that happens, you’ll be glad you can still send a quick message like, ‘Hey, how’ve you been? Miss gaming with you.’ It’s such a small thing, but trust me—it matters.

The game might’ve brought you together, but the friendship? That’s what’s real. So, don’t wait until someone’s just... gone from the lobby. Reach out, stay connected, and make sure you’re in each other’s lives beyond the headset."

With these words, stay connected and have a wonderful start of your week!
