Hola comunidad de Hive, estoy de vuelta luego de año nuevo y que mejor manera que hablando de Grand Theft Auto Vice City, asi que aqui va el primer post del año.
Conocí este juego de la misma manera que conocí Need For Speed Underground 2, mis primos y mi hermano jugaban mucho a este juego desde la PlayStation 2, seria así como conocí a este juego y a esta gran saga, así de simple, me intereso mucho el juego por la libertad que tenias de hacer cosas y por su música de lo cual hablaremos a continuación.
Su ciudad y sus colores
Su ciudad es claramente Miami, podemos verlo en muchas comparaciones entre la ciudad del juego y la real, y varias cosas mas, pero hay algo que hace que se vea como los 80's, un truco o mas trucos que aplico Rockstar en este juego, son sus colores, de día podemos ver a la ciudad con tonos entre colores cálidos por claramente sus playas, por el calor de la ciudad, en la noche dependerá, se vera un tono amarillo aun pero con las luces de la ciudad todo cambia, es aquí donde llega lo importante, muchos de los edificios que están situados en Vice City tienen luces de neon lo cual hace por alguna razón que se vea con un estilo retro toda la ciudad, aparte de un pequeño efecto de desenfoque y glitch que tiene el juego para hacer parecer que el juego es una película vieja.
Su soundtrack
Vice City tambien usa varios trucos para hacer que su ciudad se vea mas real aun, lo son sus autos y peatones, pero hay algo que hace que la ciudad tome vida y hace que te quedes jugando, eso es su musica, sus radios. Siendo un juego ambientado en los 80's tenia que tener musica de esa epoca claramente y la tuvieron, aparte que eran canciones realmente buenas, hacian que todo cobrara vida, hay variedad de musica entre sus radios teniendo 10 radios (9 sin contar la radio de musica personal) en las cuales se dividen así: Wildstyle con musica rap, Flash FM con musica pop, K-Chat como radio de charla, Fever FM con musica disco, V-Rock con rock claramente, VCPR otra radio de charla, Espantoso con jazz latino, Emotion 98.3 con rock y Wave 103 con new wave. Todas estas radios tenían sus canciones especiales y momentos especiales, a través de toda la historia del juego sus canciones van apareciendo en sus escenas haciendo que se vea como una película cada momento del juego y no solo eso, también te puede pasar en cualquier momento del juego, que estés paseando o pasando una misión y que de repente llegue la cancion justa en el momento justo, como Crockett's Theme de Jan Hammer sonando mientras vas paseando en helicóptero. Hay miles de ejemplos mas ya que sus canciones quedan en el momento justo, se adaptan perfectamente a la ciudad, sus canciones son especiales tanto como famosas, entre esas tenemos incluso a Billie Jean de Michael Jackson aparte que sus varias de sus canciones son pegadizas como lo es La vida es una lenteja de Unaesta, es un soundtrack realmente especial tanto así que es reconocido por muchos como el mejor soundtrack de la saga Grand Theft Auto.
Hay muchísimos juegos que hacen lo mismo claramente, y esos juegos tendrán su propio post, pero quería hablar de este juego por la atmósfera de Vice City ya que me parece increible el trabajo de Rockstar con este juego y también por que es el juego que marco la infancia de muchos y tenia muchas ganas de hablar acerca de su musica y lo especial que es, puede que siga hablando de este juego, en este caso de su historia y jugabilidad.

Hello Hive community, I'm back after new year and what better way than talking about Grand Theft Auto Vice City, so here is the first post of the year.
I knew this game the same way I knew Need For Speed Underground 2, my cousins and my brother played this game a lot from the PlayStation 2, that's how I knew this game and this great saga, so simple, I am very interested in the game for the freedom you had to do things and for its music which we will talk about next.
The city and its colors
His city is clearly Miami, we can see it in many comparisons between the city of the game and the real one, and several things more, but there is something that makes it look like the 80's, a trick or more tricks that I apply Rockstar in this game, are its colors, during the day we can see the city with shades between warm colors for clearly its beaches, for the heat of the city, at night it will depend, you will see a yellow tone even but with the city lights everything changes, this is where the important thing comes in, many of the buildings that are located in Vice City have neon lights which makes for some reason that you see with a retro style the whole city, apart from a small effect of blurring and glitch that has the game to make it seem like the game is an old movie.
The soundtrack
Vice City also uses various tricks to make their city look even more real, their cars and pedestrians are, but there is something that makes the city come alive and makes you play, that is their music, their radios. Being a game set in the 80's had to have music from that time clearly and had, apart from being really good songs, made everything come alive, there is variety of music between their radios having 10 radios (9 not counting the personal music radio) which are divided so: Wildstyle with rap music, Flash FM with pop music, K-Chat as a talk radio, Fever FM with disco music, V-Rock with rock clearly, VCPR another talk radio, Espantoso with Latin jazz, Emotion 98.3 with rock and Wave 103 with new wave. All these radios had their special songs and special moments, through all the history of the game their songs are appearing in their scenes making it look like a movie every moment of the game and not only that, also it can happen to you in any moment of the game, that you are walking or passing a mission and suddenly the right song arrives at the right time, like Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer playing while you are walking in a helicopter. There are thousands of other examples since his songs are at the right time, they adapt perfectly to the city, his songs are special as well as famous, among those we even have Billie Jean by Michael Jackson apart from his several songs are catchy as is Life is a Lentil by Unaesta, it is a really special soundtrack so much so that it is recognized by many as the best soundtrack of the Grand Theft Auto saga.
There are a lot of games that do the same thing clearly, and those games will have their own post, but I wanted to talk about this game because of the atmosphere of Vice City since I think the work of Rockstar with this game is incredible and also because it is the game that marked the childhood of many and I wanted to talk about their music and how special it is, I may continue to talk about this game, in this case about its history and playability.
