Hello friends of this fun community! Although I'm not a big gamer and I don't usually play too much, there is one video game that I love and that's The Sims. Some time ago I shared with you the adventures of my alterego while he was on holidays, but this time I bring you the adventures of another sims who I decided to name after one of the characters of the novels I write, so I invite you to discover how this nice character ended up becoming a magician.
¡Hola amigos de esta comunidad tan divertida! Si bien no soy una gran gamer y no suelo jugar demasiado, hay un videojuego que me encanta y esos son Los Sims. Hace tiempo compartí con ustedes las aventuras de mi alterego mientras andaba de vacaciones, pero en esta ocasión les traigo las aventuras de otro sims a quien decidí llamar como uno de los personajes de las novelas que escribo, así que los invito a descubrir como fue que este simpático personaje terminó convertido en un mago.
Let me introduce you to Benjamin Eisenberg, he is a handsome young man but while he has the same name as the character in my book, his personality is very different, this Benjamin is a flirt, he likes to flatter girls and look good. Hmmm he seems to really like his new suit.
Déjenme presentarles a Benjamin Eisenberg, es un joven apuesto pero si bien tiene el mismo nombre del personaje de mi libro, su personalidad es muy diferente, este Benjamin es un coqueto, le gusta adular a las chicas y verse bien. Hmmm parece que le gusta mucho su traje nuevo.
With the 20,000 simelons given to the sims when they start their lives, our dear Benjamin bought himself a modest house in a suburb in the particular city of "The Oddities".
Con los 20.000 simelones que les dan a los sims cuando comienzan su vida, nuestro querido Benjamin se compró una casa modesta en un suburbio en la particular ciudad de "Las rarezas"
Poor Benjamin was very sad because his new house was empty and he only had a few simelons left over to buy furniture, but it doesn't matter, because I felt sorry for him and decided to help him with an old trick. All you have to do is press the keys Ctrl + shift + C and at the top of the screen you will see a space where you have to type the following code "Motherlode" and automatically 50.000 simelons will fall into your beloved sim's bank account (This trick is valid for all expansions and in all Sims games).
El pobre Benjamin estaba muy triste porque su nueva casa estaba vacía y apenas le sobraron unos cuantos simelones que no le alcanzaban para comprar muebles, pero no importa, porque yo sentí pena por él y decidí ayudarlo con un viejo truco. Ustedes solo deben pulsar las teclas Ctrl + shift + C y en la parte superior de la pantalla se les abrirá un espacio en el cuál deben escribir el siguiente código "Motherlode" y automáticamente 50.000 simelones caerán en la cuanta bancaria de su amado sim (Este truco es válido para todas las expansiones y en todos los juegos de Los Sims).
And this is how our dear friend's house turned out, and he was very happy.

A very friendly neighbour decided to give him a housewarming present.
Un vecino muy amistoso decidió darle un regalo de bienvenida.
Benjamin was very curious to know what the gift was, so he went to open it and it was a computer. He already has a more advanced computer, but of course he was grateful for the well-meaning gift.
Benjamin tenía mucha curiosidad de saber qué era ese regalo, así que se fue a abrirlo y resultó ser una computadora. Él ya tiene una computadora más avanzada pero de todos modos, desde luego, agradeció el regalo hecho con muy buena intención.
The Benjamin in my book is a young artist, a poet who likes to write and grow flowers, so I wanted this boy to have some of his artistic sensibility, but wow! he needs a lot of practice if he wants to become a great violinist. My poor ears!
El Benjamin de mi libro es un joven artista, poeta al que le gusta escribir y cultivar flores, así que quise que este chico tuviera algo de su sensibilidad artística pero ¡Wow! Necesita muchísima práctica si quiere llegar a ser un gran violinista. ¡Mis pobres oídos!
Benjamin was a bit tired of his loneliness in this deserted landscape, so he called a taxi because he wanted to go and cool off in the city's swimming pool and meet new people. They say that in this city there are people who are a bit... strange, yes, that's right, let's see if it's true. Ooops! I think that poor little dog wants to be adopted.
Benjamin estaba un poco cansado de su soledad en ese desierto paisaje, así que llamó un taxi porque quería ir a refrescarse en la piscina de la ciudad y de paso conocer gente nueva. Dicen por ahí que en esta ciudad hay gente un poco... rara, sí, así es, veamos si es cierto. Ooops! Creo que ese pobre perrito quiere que lo adopten.
That place looks a bit deserted too. Where is everybody?
Ese lugar también se ve un poco desierto. ¿Dónde está todo el mundo?
In this hot weather Benjamin was only thinking about the refreshing pool and even wanted to take a risk by jumping off the diving board, but then he was afraid because that is something he has never done before.
Con tanto calor Benjamin solo pensaba en la refrescante piscina e incluso quiso arriesgarse dándose un chapuzón desde el trampolín, pero después sintió miedo porque eso es algo que él nunca ha hecho antes.
Haha they were right when they said that some people in this city are a bit peculiar because when some of them started to arrive, Benjamin had the opportunity to meet an alien, obviously his appearance is a bit peculiar but he seems to be a nice guy.
Jaja vaya que tenían razón al decir que algunas personas de esta ciudad son un tanto peculiares porque cuando alguna de ellas comenzaron a llegar, Benjamin tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a un alien, obviamente su apariencia es un tanto peculiar pero parece ser un buen tipo.
Before leaving, our friend bought some groceries for his home.
Antes de irse, nuestro amigo compró algunos víveres para su hogar.
Benjamin was almost on his way home, he was even about to call a taxi when suddenly he saw a flash in the street, it was a beautiful witch flying on her magic broom. Wow, wow" thought our friend, "that's weird but... I like it". I like it!"
Benjamin ya casi se iba a casa, incluso estaba a punto de llamar un taxi cuando de pronto observó un destello en la calle, era una hermosa bruja que llegó volando en su escoba mágica. "¡Vaya! ¡Vaya!" pensó nuestro amigo, "eso sí que es raro pero... ¡Me gusta"
He didn't want to waste time, so he hurried to meet her.
El no quiso perder tiempo, así que se apresuró a conocerla.
After a short while of chatting, the two began to have fun throwing water balloons at each other, it was a very funny fight that also helped them to get to know each other better, however Benjamin was about to get to know the dark side of this witch.
Al poco rato de charla, los dos comenzaron a divertirse arrojándose globos de agua, fue una pelea muy divertida que además los ayudó a conocerse mejor, sin embargo Benjamin estaba a punto de conocer el lado oscuro de esta bruja.
Yes indeed, now Benjamin knows why this city is called "Las Rarezas", there he is, talking to his friends the alien and the witch.
Sí de cierto que ahora ya Benjamin sabe porque esta ciudad se llama "Las Rarezas" ahí está él, hablando con sus amigos el alien y la bruja.
Suddenly the witch raised her wand in the air, said a few words and Boom! it started to rain, maybe she was too hot and fed up with the weather.
De pronto la bruja elevó su varita en el aire, pronunció algunas palabras y ¡Boom! comenzó a llover, tal vez tenía mucho calor y estaba harta del clima.
Already Benjamin was starting to get nervous so he hurried to call the taxi. I don't know if you can see the alien but it's there, behind the bushes staring at us (I think this is a good time to give it a close up while the music from Secret X-Files is playing) and to top it all off the witch is staring at Benjamin. Scary!
Ya Benjamin estaba empezando a ponerse nervioso así que se apresuró a llamar el taxi. No sé si pueden apreciar al alien pero está ahí, detrás de los arbustos mirándonos fijamente (creo que este es un buen momento para hacerle un close up mientras suena la música de Expedientes secretos X) y para colmo la bruja a su vez mira fijamente a Benjamin. ¡Qué miedo!
And if that wasn't enough, the witch raised her wand once more. What will her next spell be?
Y por si no fuese suficiente, la bruja levantó su varita una vez más. ¿Cuál será su próximo hechizo?
For heaven's sake! The evil woman conjured up cockroaches, it seems to me that this is her revenge for losing the water balloon battle.
¡Por todos los cielos! La malvada mujer conjuró cucarachas, me parece que esa es su revancha por haber perdido en la batalla de globos de agua.
Benjamin took advantage of the fact that the woman was busy petting a black cat, to go home in the taxi, which arrived just in time.
Benjamin aprovechó que la mujer se entretuvo acariciando un gato negro para irse a su casa en el taxi que llegó justo a tiempo.
The witch was beautiful but Benjamin had enough spells for the day, however the next day, he was ready for a new conquest, a beautiful girl named Monica who came to welcome him to the neighbourhood. Our friend didn't waste any time so he made her come into his home, and he was happy to see that she headed straight to his room... Could it be a hint?
La bruja era hermosa pero Benjamin tuvo suficientes hechizos por ese día, sin embargo al día siguiente, él ya estaba preparado para una nueva conquista, una hermosa chica llamada Monica que fue a darle la bienvenida al vecindario. Nuestro amigo no perdió tiempo así que la hizo pasar a su hogar, y estaba contento al ver que ella se dirigió directamente hacia la habitación de él... ¿Será una indirecta?
But Benjamin was already tired of talking.
Pero Benjamin ya estaba cansado de conversar.
So he wanted to get down to business and started flirting with the girl, and although at first everything was going very well, she rejected him and left the house very angry.
Así que quiso ir al grano y empezó a coquetear con la chica, y aunque en un principio todo iba muy bien, luego ella lo rechazó y se fue de la casa muy molesta.
Suddenly Benjamin remembered the beautiful witch from the night before. hmmm! it's true that she conjured up a storm and also cockroaches, but... would she have bewitched his heart too? because he couldn't stop thinking about her, so he invited her home. I wouldn't do that if I were him, but you're getting to know him, my friends, this boy is a flirt.
De pronto Benjamin recordó a la hermosa bruja de la noche anterior. hmmm! es cierto que conjuró una tormenta y también cucarachas pero... ¿acaso también habría hechizado su corazón? porque él no podía dejar de pensar en ella, así que la invito a casa. Yo no haría eso si fuese él, pero ya lo están conociendo, amigos míos, este chico es un coqueto.
While he was cleaning the house and putting everything in order, the witch arrived.
Mientras él limpiaba la casa y ponía todo en orden, la bruja llegó.
He went straight to the point and began to seduce her. The witch, for her part, was so taken with the handsome young man that she accepted his advances
Él fue directo al grano y comenzó a seducirla. La bruja por su parte estaba tan maravillada con él apuesto joven que aceptó sus galanteos.
But he also fell into the nets of love because he suddenly made a proposal to the beautiful witch, not knowing what he would get, he simply said "Take me to the dark road", does this man really intend to risk it? hmmm I don't know, what if he regrets it? what does the dark road mean exactly? Benjamin doesn't seem to care but he's about to find out anyway.
Pero él también cayó en las redes del amor porque de pronto le hizo una propuesta a la hermosa bruja, sin saber que es lo que obtendría, simplemente le dijo "Llévame al camino de la oscuridad" ¿de verdad piensa arriesgarse este hombre? hmmm no lo sé ¿y si se arrepiente? ¿qué significa el camino de la oscuridad exactamente? A Benjamin parece no importarle pero de todos modos está a punto de descubrirlo.
The witch cast a spell over him and said "Now you can walk the path of darkness, as gifts accept this spell book and cauldron. Use them to hone your skills and learn to create chaos and disorder wherever you go!" Wow, that sounds like fun, now he begins to understand why she cast a spell of cockroaches and storms, she just wanted to have fun.
La bruja le lanzó un hechizo y le dijo: "Ahora puedes recorrer el camino de la oscuridad, como regalo acepta este libro de hechizos y el caldero. Úsalos para perfeccionar tus habilidades y aprende a crear el caos y el desorden allá donde vayas". Wow, eso suena divertido, ahora él comienza a entender por qué ella lanzó un hechizo de cucarachas y tormentas, ella sólo quería divertirse.
Benjamin was then left in a halo of light as he felt something change inside him, he would never be the same as before.
Benjamin quedo entonces en un halo de luz mientras sentía que algo cambiaba dentro de él, jamás sería el mismo de antes.
He had transformed himself into a sorcerer.
Se había transformado en un hechicero.
He's still stylish, even with his strange green skin haha.
Sigue teniendo estilo, incluso con su extraña piel verde jaja.
It's time to try out your new wand with some spells. No, it's too early, I think he should read the spell book to learn some spells.
Llegó la hora de probar su nueva varita con algunos conjuros. No, es demasiado pronto, me parece que debe leer el libro de hechizos para aprender algunos de ellos.
And so, in the best Homer Addams style, our dear Benjamin thanked his beloved witch for his new status as a wizard.
Y así, al mejor estilo de Homero Addams, nuestro querido Benjamin le agradeció a su amada bruja por su nueva condición de hechicero.
And so that's the end of today's adventure, my friends, we'd better leave this wizard and witch in love alone because we don't want to be inopportune.

A mi desde pequeño me ha dado miedo los sims 2 jaja, no sé porque creo que mi infancia fue super rara por todas las expansiones bizarras que existen para el juego.

¿En serio te dan miedo los sims? Pero soy incapaz de juzgarte porque la verdad es que existe cada fobia en el mundo y cada una tiene una explicación, es verdad que hay muchas expansiones de los sims y algunas de ellas pueden resultar chocantes para cualquier niño, probablemente te topaste con una de ellas y de ahí viene tu miedo. Yo recuerdo que los que si me daban miedo, y todavía me dan, son los sims zombies (de la expansión criaturas mágicas creo que se llamaban, no me acuerdo bien) que intentaban entrar en mi casa. Uy no, yo recuerdo que bloqueaba todas las puertas pero a veces se metían al jardín para comerse mis plantas.

Jaja, pues si algo así me pasaba a mi, más que todo con los extraterrestres con las abducciones en sus naves espaciales. Mis primos siempre me jugaban la broma de que los extraterrestres me secuestrarían algún día jaja. No te preocupes mi fobia no es tan fuerte como cuando tenía 6 años jaja. 😅

I kind of miss The Sims 2! I didn't have so much gaming packs when I had the Sims 2. Deluxe Edition and Hot date, and that's it. I remembered I really wanted this gaming pack, and it is so much fun to see you play through it.
I love the Sims, but during lockdown did my boyfriend buy The Sims 4. I didn't like it at first, but I really love it now! I have so many gaming packs too that my computer are soon in it's own lockdown. HAHA.

you're rigth the lockdown was the perfect moment to play a lot, and the sims it's a good choice because you never get boring with that game, it's really funny, I never got tired of playing it.

Me divertí mucho con tu gameplay haha pero ahora Benjamin no podrá quejarse porque probablemente ahora que tiene magia, sus métodos de conquista sean más efectivos.
Me encanta jugar con sims Ocultos. Sin embargo el sistema de brujas de sims 2 que pintaba a tu sims de verde si eras una bruja mala, lo detestaba. En esa época no tenía mods para arreglarlo así que simplemente evitaba explorar esa parte del gameplay. Qué lastima.
Yo no tengo mods ni sabía que se podía arreglar jeje pero igual no me importó porque me divertí muchísimo con ese suceso jaja Benjamin estaba buscando lo que no se le había perdido y lo encontró.
